I met this really nice guy, he was very interested and would call me 2 or 3 times a day. We kissed on the 1st date, & fooled around a little on the 3rd. I usually don't go that far that fast, but there was a very strong connection.
We would've gone all the way, but had no protection. Of course he was willing to without any protection. He didn't want to go buy any & used the excuse it was too cold to go out, but when I left for the night went out to buy cigarettes. What's up with that? It made me feel like I wasn't important enough.
He called me on V-Day to wish me a happy one, talked for a few minutes & had to go. Reassured me that he would call me later that night. No call. I waited a few days, and sent an email asking him what was up. No response for a few days. Then, finally, a quick email to tell me he was behind with work and school, and would call or write back that day. Nothing again. Here it is like 5 days later and still nothing ~

not just that they like you, but that they like you and are too afraid to admit it. Are their signs? Body actions? Etc?

My fiance' and I want a small church wedding with family and friends, and a reception. How can we pull this off with this amount. We don't want it to look cheap either!

My fiance and I are getting married in late spring, and his parents, who are divorced, can't agree on what to do about the rehearsal dinner. His dad lives more locally, so his mom wants him to plan it and she'll give him a set sum of money. The problem is, he doesn't want to agree to what we want, just a simple meal catered by a local cafe. He wants something fancier - but neither of them has the money for that. She would be content with what we want and doesn't want to argue with him anymore about it. He says if she won't talk, there won't be a rehearsal dinner. It's very frustrating, and my fiance and I don't know what to do. Would the best alternative be for us to plan the rehearsal dinner ourselves, say as a picnic or potluck? Or should we just tell his dad, "Sorry, if you're not will to cooperate with us you will have to explain to the wedding party why there's no rehearsal dinner"?

I have known this man for a long time. He has lived aroundthe world. He has been calling and telling me how much he wants me. He purchased a ticket for me to visit him and I did. It was great. I asked him why and he wrote a note telling me that he has loved me since we were together the first time. He would not lie about time he has spent with other women but for him I am always in him. He said and wrote that he is seriously in love with me and wants to be with me ....but he is not ready and he needs time.
I told him that i did not come to see him because i expected anything. i said that i loved him as well and that he had all the time he needed.
on the day i left he asked when are you coming back. i asked when do you want me to? he said "tomorrow".
i am dazzled, and deeply touched and falling fast and confused. what do you think? how would you react? guys if you said and did these things what would you be saying? Help (and thanks)

So, I met a man via personals ...we talked for a while and met in person back in December, prior to Christmas. We had a date again for New Years Eve and again in January ...he arrived Friday evening and left Sunday morning. Everything has gone very well in all of our interactions. We live 50 miles apart, which isn't horrible..but we do work opposite shifs. Myself 1st and he and "early" second. He has always followed up our dates with a note or communication of some kind to tell me what a great time he had. The problem? Recently, our communication has been so little. He is very prioritized in his life. He has a passion for music and has a related project he's working on. He tells me he is interested in seeing what develops between us and feels we mesh really well. I can't help but think that even though he is busy with his passion...he could still find some time to at least drop me a note or call now and again? What gives...is he into me or not? I'm trying to be patient.

I am what you'd refer to as a good person, i treat people well and I am very understanding...I don't know many if any people that think I am a *****. My vice though is "bad" boys...what kind of girls do "bad" boys like and I'm wondering if it could ever work out for me...because it hasn't in the past.

My husband and I have been having serious sexual problems. The biggest one, we just don't have a sexual relationship anymore. I've toyed with the thought he has been cheating on me and have been proven wrong. I am not being satisfyed AT ALL. I am 25 years old and have been married now for 2 1/2 years. I don't think I can live like this for the rest of my life. My husband won't talk about it. He says he is insecure about his body, out of shape, and has no stamina. I'm so sick of his excuses! In fact, now I have develped a crush on someone else. What was once just a silly little fantasy is now turing out to be something I'm thinking of persueing! I not the cheating type, but I feel like I'm being driven to it! What should I do?

Ok, my cousin said he wants to kill himself because he's a horrible person. I told him he's not, but he said he was talking to a girl online for a year under the impression she was 18, he's 22, she told him after a year of talking that she's really 14 and he wanted to call it off, his first instinct was this is wrong, but then she threatened to kill herself coz she said she couldn't live without him, she said she lied bout her age so he would keep talkin to him, he said he has feelings for this girl and she told him nothings changed, she's still the same person, but he was afraid if he hurt her she'd have an easy time getting revenge, so he kept it up for a while longer until she dumped him, now he feels like a horrible person, but I told him he was duped into feeling for this person and was stuck in a bad situation and she's the dumb ***** who should pay, but I guess all the holier then thou jerks out there would be quick to burn him at the stake huh? I wonder if anyone understands?

This may not be a question I am allowed to ask, since it concerns another user, but that is no reason not to have compassion.
There was a question asked 8 months ago, it sounded very seriious to me. I would like to know the outcome. Is this person alright? Are they safe?
The question was asked by "wise2u" and the question asked was,
"How do I deal with an estranged husband who's passive aggressive?"
From the sound of the situation, I have been concerned for their safety, the user does not accept IM's or email, so I cannot ask personally. I hope that everything turned out well for her, and she is safe. It would be nice to know for certain though. If anyone knows, one way or the other, I would appreciate knowing myself.

Hypothetical situtation: So when I finally get my phd I would like to be Dr. Maiden name, not Dr. Husband's name, esp. considering I am the end of the family line and I am very proud of it, plus this is all me and all the schooling I've put myself through thus far (even before getting married). I would've kept my maiden name but I hadn't established anything important with it yet (published papers, etc.). AND if I had gotten married after getting even my masters, my husband would've been more comfortable with me keeping my last name, so I would've kept my maiden name anyway if it had just been a few more years... Is it legal to use my maiden name in such a way? If you're just going to rant about how untraditional everyone is becoming and horrible this is, don't bother answering because it's a waste of your time.

i am trying to move on from my ex. i am single with the baby and he has a new woman he is living with. i still love him, but he seems to be into his new life. i was just shocked at how fast he moved on and in with someone else. it was very hurtful. i planned my whole life around him, moved to his area where i knew no one, far from my home and its like he never got disrupted. now i am totally alone, away from home, but have to start all over in my job and new friends if i move back. but to stay is hard as when i see him i still feel attracted to him. i do want to move on but i can't stop my feelings. how can i let go???? i try to meet other men, but i can't feel the same way for them.

Of course every relationship has to go through this. is a type of thing where "only the strong survive?" What is the root of the fall of a relationship. id like to know.
