I am 18. A high school senior. Two years ago, I had many guys after me. I went out on many dates. Last years was okay but this years there is like no one. I am so alone. They all stare at me and check me out but none of the guys ask me out. What is the deal please explain? Thanks much!

Sounds like you may have gotten more intimidating. Guys, especially in high school, get really intimidated by beautiful girls.

I also bet you were dating older guys, and now there is no one in the school older than you, so all the guys in your grade probably think you only like older guys.

Go to some college parties or ask a group of guys to come hang out with you and your friends, someone will get the courage to take you out.

Somehow you seem to have become intimidating to them. It could be your status as a senior or maybe you have already dated all the good ones in school. Try to remember that there is a whole big world out there after HS and it really does only get better. Have a great time with your friends for the rest of the year and good luck in the future!

I don't know about you, but for me, my social group was always changing throughout high school. I hung out with a completely different group of people in grade 9 then I did in my graduating year. People change, maybe both you have changed personality-wise.

If you have any sort of self-confidence issues now that you didn't in the past, you should speak to a counselor

Good luck and don't worry! High school is tough, but believe me, it gets better after graduation!

Don't be afraid or worried. Believing that people don't like you is natural, but unhealthy. Trust me, there are many guys interested in you, but they are either afraid or intimidated by you. I actually encourage you to leave high school relationships behind. Since you're a senior, you're about to enter college (I hope!) and move on to a greater, more meaningful type of relationship. Just continue to keep your chin up and look forward. Good luck!

No offense,if taken, but do you think that maybe your ego got pretty big or maybe your too cool(personality wise,as in you get along with everybody, but guys are just too scared, cause maybe they can't believe that such a girl exist) and have gotten even hotter since. I don't know if you think it seems weird and but it just might be true. First, try looking at the changes you've made in your daily activity and maybe you'll find what your looking for. Good Luck and right back if anything.

You might intimidate them. You wear glasses, you look pretty, and you're probably intelligent.Just the fact that they check you out says it all. They're afraid to ask you out, fearing that they might get rejected.Try to be more outgoing and ask them over to visit for a while. You'll get to talk and maybe start dating again.Don't isolate yourself, hang out with your girlfriends and do some fun stuff. After all it's your Senior year! You still have your whole life ahead of you.Good Luck.

Well Mara D I wonder if you have just matured and moved on and need a new environment. If you have become more attractive and assertive, then that could be one reason why the guys might back off! Try the front on approach - Just walk up and talk to someone to whom you are attracted. Good luck!

HS is a weird, stressful time. Everyone is full of hormones and everyone is changing. Everyone wants to be popular. Either someone spread rumors about you or you became a b*tch. Either way, forget it. You're a Senior and will graduate in a few months. Thankfully, HS is not real life.

Good luck!

Its just a phase you are going through, if you like any of these guys ask them out for a coffee. Nowadays its a nice compliment to a man to be asked out. Take care Heather

If your real glasses are like those on your avatar they might be ruining the attractiveness of your face. High school guys are often very shallow and might not be able to get past trivial flaws like that.
