So, I met a man via personals ...we talked for a while and met in person back in December, prior to Christmas. We had a date again for New Years Eve and again in January ...he arrived Friday evening and left Sunday morning. Everything has gone very well in all of our interactions. We live 50 miles apart, which isn't horrible..but we do work opposite shifs. Myself 1st and he and "early" second. He has always followed up our dates with a note or communication of some kind to tell me what a great time he had. The problem? Recently, our communication has been so little. He is very prioritized in his life. He has a passion for music and has a related project he's working on. He tells me he is interested in seeing what develops between us and feels we mesh really well. I can't help but think that even though he is busy with his passion...he could still find some time to at least drop me a note or call now and again? What gives...is he into me or not? I'm trying to be patient.

One day I specifically asked, are you interested in seeing what develops, now that we've had a chance to spend more time together. The answer was, that we were doing just that. On Valentines day, the message came ...."will you be my Valentine?"

It's cause you're old.

Its going to be very difficult to make this work considering the distance you 2 live apart and your work schedules. Try to become more involved in his music projects and try to be interested in what he does at least maybe that way he'd be able to find time for you and his projects at the same. Does that m ake sense?

He is not into you. He is just letting things fizzle out slowly. He is not strong enough to tell its not working for him. He is using his passions as an excuse to avoid having to see you.

Sorry to have to tell you this.
