Met a guy through an online dating site. Been going out over 5 months and had sex a few times. After 4 months I had such strong feelings for him that I decided not to date anyone else. He told me he had feelings/emotions he was trying to sort out. We never talked about being exclusive but I assumed he was. Last night I asked him if he had "been with" anyone else and he said, "Yes....one time about 3 months ago." My heart is broken and I don't know what to do.

I just realized yesterday how, I guess "hung up" is the term, on my ex boyfriend I am. I've never felt about anyone the way I did about him, it was amazing. But we just kind of fizzled out. since that (we broke up in JUNE!), I haven't been able to find myself attracted to ANY guy. There's a few decent guys who like me now, who last year I would happily have dated, but now, they don't even phase me. I don't miss my ex in the least, just the way he made me feel. I really like this guy named "mike", and realllllllyyyy want to be able to date and have fun again, but nothing moves me anymore.

It's like that line from Taking back sunday, "why cant I feel anything from anyone other then you?"

ugh. anyone understand? how did you move on?

a couple months ago my ex called me and said he still thinks about me and even asked if i have met anyone new then we ended up having phone sex after a while of that he said he kinda felt guilty because he has another gf,...if hes truly happy with her why is he calling me up and talking to me about this...but now i have heard they are getting married they have been dating about 6 months hes 27 shes 19 obviously he lies to her especially about me.i called him to confirm his marriage and all he told me was he had to move on from me and that he was really sorry...why did he say this why didnt he say he loved her...is this how guys usually are even at his age? and can their relationship with the age difference,the lies and did i mention he has changed everything about himself to make her happy could that really work? oh and then he tried telling me he was just trying to make the break up easier for me but im pretty sure i didnt ask him to say those things to me. what do yall think?

Big Problem! I have no Idea how my fiance and I are going to get married! I am a Christian and he is Athiest. I have never pushed my religion on to him and would never want to, but ever since I was a little girl with a teatowel on my head I've dreamed of the big White Church wedding! He has very kindly said that we can get married in my church, but my main problem with this is the wording of the religious ceremony! I don't think he should have to say thoses things if he doesn't believe them!
Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

i am a second child of four siblings, and i have a mother who is sort of a busy woman. during my school years, she never showed up for any of my schooling activities, pta meeting and all that.i never said anything, cause i felt that was alright with me, but when my youngest sis went to the school, she went there practically every weekend, said she's the last kid who went to school, (i already finished school at that time). yet i didnt say anything, cause that kid is my sis and i am a big sis, jealousy is a no-no for me.i started to feel 'funny' when i saw my ma loves to hug my 2 youngest sisters, and never me. but still i didnt want to think negative.few months ago, my younger sis caught fever while she was sitting for her college exam, and ma called twice a day to check on her.now im having a terrible fever, threw up twice today,she never ring me once.my pa did.i am 23, is it normal 2 be sad, or im 2 old to feel sad over this? feel so alone.(my ma claimed she loves her kids equally).

We went out on our first date and it was great! we both had a good time. So I decided to ask her for a Valentines day date. She tells me that she already has plans with another guy that she had been seening. I already knew about this guy and I guess when it comes down to it, it's a competition between me and him. A coworker sent me an email that I was too weird for him to be friends with because I was sending him mixed signals. We had been close for awhile and I told him it was best that we ignore each other so I can get over my crush on him since he already has a gf. Anyway during all of this, he suggested that the best way to get over him was to sleep with him. I thought he really wanted me because he kept asking if I wanted to do it. Then he told me that I should do it with someone else since he already has a gf. Of course, I felt hurt ,angry, and embarrassed since I told him things that I wanted him to do to me. A few days later I called him a dog via text since he jerked my feelings around, then I felt bad about it and wrote a letter apologizing to him. This is what provoked him to ignore me for the past month. A few days ago, he looked at me like he wanted to say hello and I emailed him asking him if we could just treat each other like coworkers and say hi. He told me I was too werd.

I'm a widow, live with her at her apartment. A wonderful girl, has a job and takes a postgraduation course in Chemistry. I try to contibute, help and give all my love. But I can't stop being a mom, maybe I shouldn't, but moms are moms. So I agree I try to interfere in her life and control her a bit. She's wonderful, but at 23 still inexperienced and sometimes drives me crazy, coming home late, working too much, going to parties and getting little sleep. Of course since she's an adult I have no formal authority, but still have some psychological one So, some days ago she wanted to go to a party after, I said Oh no hun, you need some sleep or you'll get sleep. She ended up obeying. This was great, but her extremely dynamic life makes me worried, I need a bit more control, I wish I could ground her sometimes, with all my love of course. This is a dangerous age, she's an adult, has a job, makes money, is wonderful but still a bit immature. I dont know if she'll obney if I ground her

I have no problems with being friends with anyone no matter if i ike them or not im ok with it....but someone i recently was talking to said that we are not compatable...so i said to them well we can be friends...and they said the ball is in my court...meaning that if i want the friendship to work its all on me, and on my attempts....another thing is that when we first started talking we ended up on the wrong foot, where it was hard for us to see if we are compatable or not, and they misunderstood who i was, so now they think im this shy quiet person who is not interesting...which i am...and thats why they said we are not compatable and they wont attempt to be friends with someone who doesnt interest them...but thats not really giving me a chance when im totally not like that. and i feel this is the only person in my whole life who i had chemestry with...but they dont see it...i do...

Iam confused about my husbands behaviour, he talks of wanting to see me having sex with another man even him doing it with another girl i have told him several times that i cant do that now he says he will do it himself then i watch them. Nowadays when we have sex he will be saying i should imaging him doing it with another girl or myself with another man it really makes me wonder and it irritats and bores me i have told him and he does not want to change when we start doing it he says i should imagine, it really takes me out of the mood of having sex and he just talks of one girl who is my cousin saying himself he imagines her i dont know if they once had sex together. My boyfriend asked me to move to NYC with him. I'm told him due to financial reasons I can't move until July. However, I've never been there and it looks like I might not even visit until we go look for apartments. basically I feel really rushed, have been struggling from paycheck to paycheck for awhile now, and july signifies more income in my life. I've started thinking about staying here (michigan) for another year to save up some of the cash I'm getting and basically enjoy life before I move to a strange place. should I go in july or wait, even if it means he might go without me?

What are the worst things to do on a singles night, without stating the obvious?

So now I need to brush up on my ... etiquette. What would you suggest? It's quite informal, you now, loads of people mingling, the odd few stuck inside the dark corners. I must also mention that it's at an Art Gallery - logic says (at this point) that it's of a higher caliber than other Singles Nights.

Any tips would be very helpful.

There's this guy on my ski team that I really like, but I don't know if he likes me back. He's always around me, sits next to me on the chair lift purposely, and we talk all the time. He said I'm really pretty, but I don't know if he was just saying that to be nice. I asked him if guys like it when girls ask them out and he said yes they do because it takes the slack off of guys. Then he said "If I was to ask you out, and you didn't feel the same way, that would be pretty embaressing for me." I didn't say anything because we were getting off the chair. I'm three months older than him but I'm in grade 9 and he's in grade 8. Should I ask him out or wait for him to make his move?
