A coworker sent me an email that I was too weird for him to be friends with because I was sending him mixed signals. We had been close for awhile and I told him it was best that we ignore each other so I can get over my crush on him since he already has a gf. Anyway during all of this, he suggested that the best way to get over him was to sleep with him. I thought he really wanted me because he kept asking if I wanted to do it. Then he told me that I should do it with someone else since he already has a gf. Of course, I felt hurt ,angry, and embarrassed since I told him things that I wanted him to do to me. A few days later I called him a dog via text since he jerked my feelings around, then I felt bad about it and wrote a letter apologizing to him. This is what provoked him to ignore me for the past month. A few days ago, he looked at me like he wanted to say hello and I emailed him asking him if we could just treat each other like coworkers and say hi. He told me I was too werd.

I thought I had a boyfriend, but yet he would get up in the middle of the night to write someone else a email and tell me not to be offended, we do not live together, thank goodness, then the IM's stopped, the phone calls came late at night, the emails stopped, then I get a email telling me he only loved me as a sister, not as a lover.

I have been married for 7 yrs & have 3 very young children. My husband is not abusive & is a very good father. However, I am not in love with him anymore. This is not the first time I have felt this way in the marriage. Off & on throughout the years I struggled with feelings of whether or not to stay, because I wasn't sure if the feelings were what they should be. We have been to counceling (although honestly we didn't go long because of financial reasons). Now after several things have happened in the past few years (where he was not there for me when I really needed him) that have pushed him away from me mentally & physically, I feel that no matter how much counceling I went to, that the feelings are no longer there & I can't work on the marriage anymore. I am not in love & as much as I wish I was because of our children....we both deserve to be with someone & completely 100% loved. My family does not understand this & feels that it should be worked on. How do I make them?

I can't decide what to do about my marriage and am terribly confused. To summarise and add to my previous question, 13 months ago I discovered my husband was cheating. At the time he was like a man possessed, so against me and marriage in general, feeling trapped and not wanting commitment. Then after 8 months of "talking" he left to live in his own place but comes back 3 to 4 days a week. We have a daughter who is now 17 and studying. He has told me that he has ended his affair and it could be true because he is now calm and we are talking again like man and wife. However, I don't know whether this is because he wants to string me along till he saves enough money to buy me out of our beautiful house because eventually I will not be able to manage it. He is 41 and I 54 so he has a longer future to look forward to than I have. I keep wondering whether this will fit in with our daughter leaving home for university etc. When we met he did lie about his age and motives. Married 19 years.

My wife gets upset and frustrated sometimes. Every once in awhile she blows up and says all kinds of nasty things out of frustration then the next day she’s fine. Sometimes what she says really bothers me and I was not raised to blow up out of frustration. The next day she can be really loving and say “forget about yesterday. It didn’t happen”. I mean she could say things like “you don’t love me. I want a divorce. You don’t care about me.” Then the next day say “I love you to death. I don’t know what I would do without you.” However in the back of my head I’m thinking OK this woman really wants a divorce. Do people like this says things they don’t mean out of hurt or anger and really not mean them? I doubt she’ll leave us but it’s like she can’t control what comes out of her mouth when she’s upset and then the next day she’s perfectly OK and wants me to hang all over her. I don’t know what to believe. Should I believe what comes out of her mouth when she’s upset or the sweet side of her? Anybody else married to someone like this? I don’t know sometimes whether to pack my bags or just ignore her when she gets like that.
