If he is defending, it may mean he feels attacked.

You don't say HOW you approach his mistakes. Do you nag him, or cajole him, etc? Or do you let him know he made a mistake and you have confidence that he will learn from it and do better.

Maybe you need to seek a communication coach to see if there are any ways you can improve your delivery so the message is not percieved as an attack.

A difficult question. My recommendation would be that you approach him through different channels. Though men prefer directness, some see may it as a challenge to their authority. Your best approach would be to not confront him, but rather, give him time to see the errors he has made, and allow him to correct them. He is well aware of the errors he makes, but may prefer to not be confronted about them. It has to do with his ego structure. If he has a dominant (D) personality, he seeks control. That is why he cannot allow himself to feel less than perfect. When you speak to him regarding his mistakes, it exposes his weakness (thus lack of control) in that particular area. That is also why you usually end up getting hurt. For more info on his, and your personality, you could try to take the DiSC personality survey. Answer the questions honestly, once from your perspective, and then once from his. You can then determine how you would both behave in certain situations. You can also see how to better relate to other personality types. I hope that this helps your situation. Good luck to you.

Don't worry too much. All men are like that. Even if you prove them with writing or, recording that he was wrong -, he will still do as if he is never wrong! -

Just don't argue about it, find your way and get over the things secretly by knowing yourself you're the best!. It is waist of time to analyze too much and put your marriage in dangour, especially with stuborn men!!. The truth is women are more clever than men! Just accept that on your own, have a laugh to his mistakes he makes! You can play a good game and one day prove him straight to his face, then he won't be able to say a word....believe me, the day will come....some point!

You have to make a choice, either your going to continue to accept his bad behavior or you going to fight back.
Either way dealing with someone whom is immature enough not to accept his mistakes is never easy to change.
You need to weigh out what is important to you and decide if he worth all of the pain it brings you to stay with him.
Hope this helps and good luck to you.
