Does he like me?

There's this guy on my ski team that I really like, but I don't know if he likes me back. He's always around me, sits next to me on the chair lift purposely, and we talk all the time. He said I'm really pretty, but I don't know if he was just saying that to be nice. I asked him if guys like it when girls ask them out and he said yes they do because it takes the slack off of guys. Then he said "If I was to ask you out, and you didn't feel the same way, that would be pretty embaressing for me." I didn't say anything because we were getting off the chair. I'm three months older than him but I'm in grade 9 and he's in grade 8. Should I ask him out or wait for him to make his move?

He likes you.... he thinks your pretty. He said "if I asked you out..." he was waiting for your reaction. So it seems he does want to ask you out but is scared you dont feel the same for him. I bet if you wait he will ask you out.

If your age is in line with your grade, then that would make you around 15 years old. Considering you're still in high school, I highly suggest you let it work itself out naturally. You've only got 3 more years until you graduate high school, if it were me (I'm 22 and man do I wish I would have realized this back when I was that age), I'd not make a move, if things work out that way, fine, but don't pursue anything with anyone until you get done with high school. Hopefully you're fortunate enough to one of those girls who has it pretty easy through high school, but regardless, when you're in 9th grade, relationships aren't worth the drama and trouble they seemingly churn up for everyone involved.

Honestly, at this point in your life, you're still learning about the bonds of friendship; how to be involved, maintain and keep friends who are really worth the dedication. Focus on those people, for they are the ones who will more than likely turn to when heartache ensues. Friendship is a powerful thing, try your hardest to find the good ones and keep them! :)

Save yourself the grief and focus on your education, after all, you're almost done! I wish you the best of luck in your studies and any relationships you may have... after you finish school! :)

absolutely girlfreind....he clearly likes u but is afraid u will say no.....n i'm not surprised for a beauty like urself.....make ur move if u totally want to but make sure he not the kinda guy to blow it all around n go telling everyone cuz that will spoil ur image......or u can start sending him signals n hints like he is doing....for exampple next time u on the chair ask him to play a quick game of truth or dare n ask him or ask him if he were in ur situation what will he do.......if he a guud guy then dun let him go girlfrnd.....guud luck.

Obviously he is in to you, he pretty much told you that he was but he is afraid of rejection, ask him fo rhis number, call him on the phone, talk maybe he will get more comfortable with you an ask you out, if you really like him ask him out.
