Im 25 and am in love with my girl, we haved been dating for 3 years now, and i wanted to get married to her, i finished University next year, do you think its better i finish Uni before i get married? or will i cope?

thnak you guys for them answers ,i forgot a few more things to add i understand what you saying but if you have a mate in your life doing the same thing as your old mate its very hard to out out of what you was used to living and i really want change in my life i told my husband i need his help to change when your mate is not loving you the way he shoudl its no surpport there i know i can put it all on him and i want i just need his surpport ,not love me when he ready to thats not fair

I ask because I have people that I don't associate much with anymore... they expect me to answer nosy question, they guilt trip me into meeting their expectations. They make me feel bad about myself and so I have decided to do what is best for me. Not be with them... despite the fact they think I am oligated to them because of family ties...

Is it selfish to do what is best for you without obligation? Or does family blood mean you are olbigated to these people, despite the effect they have on you, and even subtely on your children...

I chatted with this girl that posted on craigslist on AIM. It seems like she is somewhat interested but does not really elaborate alot on the questions i ask her on AIM or my attempts to get to know her better. Is this typical for girls to do online since she doesn't really know me yet or is she just not interested? Should I keep trying? I did give some real sorta stories (not just bs) about myself to make her feel a little more secure.

i am 13 and my dad is very old fashioned is extremly masculin and rarley shows emotion(ive seen him cry once at church and he stopped the second he started) and i take after my mom (being VERY emotional and talkative)so i dissapoint my dad all the time because im the masculin son(brother cooks in the kitchen and cleans house) but im too emotional and sensetive and i need to know how to deal with this

I am planning our wedding for this July. My parents are paying for 99% of the wedding. They want my fiance to get more involved in the planning yet are very controlling over all the decisions. He feels as though nothing is his decision because they are paying for it. It is coming off to my parents as if the wedding is not important to him. Now I'm stuck in the middle trying to make everyone happy and seems I'm losing out on the deal! I've talked to both sides and my parents aren't backing off and he's not stepping up to the plate! How do I make it a more enjoyable experiance and stop them from destroying their relationship (my parents and the fiance)

Here was the original issue:

I am asking this under my wife's log on.....I lost a battle for visitation rights to my son due to having a REALLY bad attorney....I pay child support, paid my ex's mediation fees, paid half of the medical bills for my son, paid for the paternity test....I did everything I was supposed to do....her defense was my irresponsibility due to my age (i am 23, she is 33) and she said in court that i was a convicted felon (burglary charge when i was 13 years old) and my attorney did not say a WORD to defend me....sooooo....i got ONLY every other weekend visitation (no holiday, birthdays, father's day, nothing) and she got SOLE parental responsibility.....we were not married (in case anyone asks), it was a one night stand but I am trying to take repsponsibility and be in my son's life.....the question is.....should I file for a modification of final judgment???? i want my son!!!
Now....i found an attorney to take the case for $1500, should i go for it?

i am 18 and about to get married, My parents said that if i stay at home for a few more months, they will give us $2500 to help with the wedding. I would be all for that, if i thought they actually would, but my parents LOVE to bribe me with stuff then tell me "oh, well i forgot to tell you, you had to do this too" and then i ended up doing exactly what they wanted without getting anything they promised. Also, they said i don't have their blessing on my marriage unless i do what they say (again, holding things above my head). I really want their blessing, but i also feel like i am old enough to make my own decisions and take care of myself. Also, IF they did give me any money, they would want me to get married right then (they said this summer) but i want to wait a little while to get married. We are still taking pre-marital counseling and i want to make sure i do everything i can to help our marriage BEFORE i get married, but i feel like they are going to pressure me into it.

My boyfriend and I currently attend the same university. I've decided this school is not right for me and I'm going to move to another school about 3 hours away- or at least I want to. Everything has been perfect with my boyfriend from the beginning. We've been together long enough that we're just so comfortable and right for each other. He is literally the only good thing about me staying. He's very against the long distance thing which is understandable because we all know it never works. I know I'm young and everything but I can't see myself throwing away a perfect relationship just to make myself happier. What's your feedback/thoughts?

I know this sounds stupid but I am in a relationship and this is the first relationship where I actually trust the guy. It leads me to believe that if I trust him and am not jealous of him then I must not care about him.

ok so i have been with my boyfriend for 3yrs and so now he is moving away and 2 a new school soon. Last night we talked on the phone and talk about it,and he said that he loves me and isn't studdin those girls at the new school he about to go to. also that he isn't gonna let 3yrs go to waste just because he is moving. my problem is that i dnt really believe him when he said he wouldn't be studdin those girls at his new school and stuff(shoot he mess withed my friends at the school he goes to now)! im worried that he will and i believe he will... i feel bad that i feel that way though. what do u think i should do? would u just break up or would u try to work things out or do u think we can work things out! also if u believe that it can't be worked out how do i get ova him and move on?Also he says since he got this new phone he has to talk to me until 10:00 on school nights! thanks for the advice!

firstly I have 2 kids by my ex, and his parents like to make their prescence as the grandparents felt (not in a nice way).
Im pregnant by my current partner and also have another child with him. I am planning our wedding for near the end of this year.
My current bf's mom said I should not invite my ex's parents, brother and 2 sisters to the wedding. this is because when I had my 3 children christened last year, my ex's mom said something horrible to me. My bf's mom obviously does not want me hurt on mine and her son's big day. My own mom agrees but also said if i do not invite at least my ex's parents, they will feel snubbed and things could get nasty. (yes they are those kind of people). My bf thinks we should also invite them to keep the peace, he wanted also to invite my ex but i put my foot down and said no! now I am unsure of what to do I do not want them bitching at me for all my life (as they visit their grandchildren once a month) but i also do not want my wedding ruined!

I love spending time with my boyfriend. I love doing nice things for him and I trust him 100%, he is caring, affectionate, trustworthy, great family but he is just a little too nice sometimes.

I come from a background of 7 years in emotionally abusive relationships and it is so hard to change your thinking pattern. I do think that I deserve to be treated nicely and the last thing I want is to be treated like crap again but how can i change my opinion of the one I am with so I can stay with him forever and be happy?!?!
