What is your defininition of friendship? Is it always being there for the person, no matter how many stupid choices they are making for themselves? Or is it always being honest with them when they are making those choices? In 'true friendship' is it possible for the drama to become too much for one friend? If one friend is always taking, and the other is always giving- is that still a friendship?

FH has 6 GM (ages 16, 19-31)
I have 5 BM (ages 19, 25-27)
we also have rb (7) & fg (3) - brother & sister.

I want to have an even number of bridesmaids & groomsmen, I want them to walk down the aisle together. Problem is...i have 2 friends who are equally close (age 25) and do not want to choose between them.
Also, I dont want to have more than 6...I would have rather had 5, but he wanted all of his brothers/step brothers/brother-in-laws to be in it.
Any way, I think it would make my dad very happy if I invited his neice (my cousin) to be a bridesmaid...but she is only 8 (5 foot tall). She is gorgeous, and very mature for her age...but she is still a young child.
Would it be wrong of me to ask the youngest groomsman (16) to walk her down the aisle? would that be too weird? what should I do!?
-Side note: I know its my wedding and I can do what I want...I just want to know what you think, Thanks!

Been married for 3 months. It was not the easiest of beginnings but we fell in love and despite his age and legal status (he is younger) we made a good couple. Work has been hard for him, and it bothers him that I make more money (but I have finished school and have have had a good job for some time), but I have just looked out for him. I got an immigration lawyer, took care of all the paper work, and have tried to provide a home that he could love.
He has gotten meaner, moody, and demanding. Slowly. Not all days, just in an unpredictable manner. This morning he had an appointment to get his teeth cleaned and fixed, and he demanded that I go and prior to it just was extremely unpleasant. Then saying that it was me. That is what he does, be mean and blame me. I feel like just choking him or making him leave,but he has everything to lose. What is the deal? Why is he intent on ruining the marriage?

I have actually posted about this friend before as she is (her own family members words) annoying and irritiating. I am almost 58yrs and known her since childhood. From a large group of people they have all dropped her, not easily as she refused to let go, phoning etc. Underneath I know she doesn't mean it and
that's made me not want to hurt her. She is so thick skinned and even spelling out something to her doesn't work, Things she does are just completely alien to my principles as in thinks nothing of taking all she can get from anyone and yet spends, spends on herself. Also how she treats work is unbelievable, always off (she gets paid) sick but can be away on hol. She has always been like that and I've just counted to 10 and the friendship has lasted. Why then now after all these years has it got me to the point that I just can't bear her? My family etc continually tell me to get shot of her but I ignored their advice. Now my decision but she won't let go.

I've just split up with my boyfriend after a 7 month relationship. He swept me off my feet to begin with, bought me an engagement ring, planned a future with me forever. He did, during our time together, blow hot and cold with me, one week he'd be loving and attentive, the next cold and distant. The last few weeks of him being cold I found too much to cope with (being very sensitive) and I have now ended our relationship. I think part of me hoped that by ending things he would come to his senses and return to the loving man he was. But I've heard nothing and I'm hearbroken. We're not kids (I'm 35 & he's 44) & even his closest friends have told me it's HIM and not me. I'm sure now he'll never come back to me but I love him so much I have a pain in my chest. I want it to go. How can I feel better?

When i was younger i had a big crush on this guy who trained at my gym. He wasn't interested in me as i was quite a bit younger than him.

I used to see him all the time then eventually i saw him as like an uncle figure, whom i cared about.

I forgot about the crush and i have been with my boyfriend for nearly a year now, and im very much in love with him. We are happy together and have a healthy relationship.

Recently this guy has come back on the scene and he gives me hugs, and openly tells people how beautiful i am. On tuesday, he wouldn't leave me alone chatting, and telling me im pretty and stuff.

I wasn't sure if he was flirting, as it didn't seem to have a sexual content, it was more affectionate.

I think about him more since this event, and im worried if this is normal as i used to have quite a big crush on him.

Please help!

man, my sister's been going around bragging about coming down to see me and how much of a perfect sister i am cuz i told her i'm celebrating her bday a few weeks early cuz she'll be down here and it'll be a time she won't forget. starting to stress me out cuz i don't know if her bday give will be "perfect" for her.

a poem i wrote her framed up nicely
a charm bracelet with charms representing her favorite things: shoes, writing, music, shopping, love ect...
a day away at the spa for the whole nine yards: massage, pedicure, manicure evertything.

she's 16 is that a 16 year old's idea of a "perfect" bday? i don't even remember what i liked when i was 16 and i never celebrated my bday either.

I'm 21 and the guy i like is 31. Him and i get along great. He is a manager in a different departmant in the store that i work at so hes not my manager.
Well since i talk to him alot someone had 2 get in the middle of my business and i know who it was but anyways she had to stick her nose where it shouldnt and asked him what was goin on between him and i. (Trust me there is nothing going on between us besides just talking and laughing a lot.)
Well i talk to everyone in his area so its not just him and he explained this to her. Anyways he found out that im fallin for him and he dont know that i know that he knows and im startin to become embrassed bout it because i dont want rumors or anything. The fact i work with him is making me uncomfortable. He tells me things that managers shouldnt tell because its personal like he tells me how he wants to break-up wit his gf who lives with him and he tells me that hes getin tired of the stuff that she pulls and that he wants her out. I dont even know if he likes me back. He's known for a while i liked him before i knew he knew and he still talks to me. What should I do???

There is this guy I like at work, and we go to the same gym and run into each other sometimes. We had "the conversation" at the gym. I told him right out that I am interested in him because he is nice looking, is single, doesn't have children, and is basically equal to me financially. We are in our thirties, and could start a life together, in my opinion. I pour myself out to him, and he immediately says "I don't date people at work." So after that, I felt like "well whatever" and just went about my life. He is very nice and helps me at work, because we work in the same department, and he is more experienced in the particular job we do. Also, whenever I see him at the gym now, he acts like he wants to talk. I don't understand after he rejects me like that, he acts like he likes me. I think he's not attracted to me. Otherwise, work or not, we'd be together. Does any GUY no why this guy would act wishy-washy?
