FH has 6 GM (ages 16, 19-31)
I have 5 BM (ages 19, 25-27)
we also have rb (7) & fg (3) - brother & sister.

I want to have an even number of bridesmaids & groomsmen, I want them to walk down the aisle together. Problem is...i have 2 friends who are equally close (age 25) and do not want to choose between them.
Also, I dont want to have more than 6...I would have rather had 5, but he wanted all of his brothers/step brothers/brother-in-laws to be in it.
Any way, I think it would make my dad very happy if I invited his neice (my cousin) to be a bridesmaid...but she is only 8 (5 foot tall). She is gorgeous, and very mature for her age...but she is still a young child.
Would it be wrong of me to ask the youngest groomsman (16) to walk her down the aisle? would that be too weird? what should I do!?
-Side note: I know its my wedding and I can do what I want...I just want to know what you think, Thanks!

As far as your question goes, it's prefectly fine to make anyone under 18 walk down the aisle with anyone else under 18. That's, I believe, where the concept of "junior" bridesmaids and groomsmen came from originally. Of course, your other option is not to have the distinction at all and just call them all bridesmaids and groomsmen.

Also, don't feel obligated to include others as a nice gesture to others. It's your day and it should be about you and what you want. Pleasing others is a nice thing to do, but should not govern your actions on one of the most important days of your life.

Okay, I do believe the number of brides maids and grooms men is currently uneven right? If you've got no choices, why don't you have your niece be the fifth brides maid? This way the "couples" walk down together because there's an even number, and you get to please your dad while you're at it. And I'm sure the 16-year old guy wouldn't mind walking down a gorgeous girl, even if she's half his age :-) I hope your wedding turns out the way you want it to. All the best and congratulations!

I had 7 ladies, a jr bridesmaid, flower lady, 6 groomsmen and a million jr. perfect guy. For the processional----- Jr. bridesmaid went first. She only handed off to be the shortest...and that i had the different ladies walk so as of shortest to tallest. Then the Maid of honor, My flower lady became very last, then my father and that i. The groomsmen were all interior the pews already. on the way out, the Jr. perfect guy, flower lady and jr bridesmaid walked jointly, then all partnered up although the stunning had a million guy and a pair of ladies...it regarded lovable interior the images!!

The abbreviations were no trouble, but i am also a bride to be soon also, so that might be why. I dont think that the JB has to have anyone walk them down the isle they can come down the isle right before the flower girl.

Of cousre she can walk down the ailse with him. I dont see anything wrong with it. Its not like they are dating. I know someone who had to do the same thing. And no one thought it looked bad. Also if she makes an odd number she can walk by herself too! Have fun and dont worry too much! Congratulations!!

they can walk with a grooms man or by themselves. Why don't you search for processional on the internet?
