I chatted with this girl that posted on craigslist on AIM. It seems like she is somewhat interested but does not really elaborate alot on the questions i ask her on AIM or my attempts to get to know her better. Is this typical for girls to do online since she doesn't really know me yet or is she just not interested? Should I keep trying? I did give some real sorta stories (not just bs) about myself to make her feel a little more secure.

It sounds as though this girl is just being very cautious, as she well should be. There are so many not so nice guys out there, so she's being cautious & you can't fault her for that. In time, when/if she feels comfortable about telling you all about herself, she will. In the meantime, just be patient & if she's really interested, you'll know it.

It's hard to say since you just started talking to her. Give her some time to open up and get more comfortable with you. There are a LOT of creeps out there and so most women tend to like to move slowly when getting to know someone.
You can tell she's not interested if she doesn't ask you any questions or isn't up for chatting very much. Then, move on to the next one!

She could be very cautious about this as she should be. Keep talking to her and give it some time for her to become more comfortable with you. Some also just play on these sites and she could be one. Hard to tell, but good luck.

i met some guy online maybe like 2 months ago.. he was cool the 1st couple of times he came down but the last two times hes been annoying like really bad. he doesn't shut up and he just keeps talking and to top it off his breath was kickin really bad. and all my friends were trying to be nice to him just because they fault bad for him. that's the last time i would ever met with someone i met online.

Usually when i am on line chatting and i don't really elaborate on my answers its cause I'm not interested but maybe she is just being cautious. only one way to find out, ask her.

it is really hard to say. I think just keep trying and if it doesnt seem like she is attempting to share about herself she is either weary or not intrested. she may think of herself as being secure by not sharing a lot of personal info. so just keep tallking to her and maybe she will come around .

truth is be your self, and be carefull there are alot of wackos out there just looking for a boy or to and trust me this is not something from a parent, im 14, and my friend got d just by talking and dating a guy on the internet.

I don't see anything wrong with it. I was reluctant to let people in when I talked to them online. So I'm thinking she just needs time. She'll come around sooner or later.

my uncle met my aunt online they met and flew to las vegas and got married. be careful tho it could be some crackhead or somethin and by the way my aunt and uncle been married for 3 years now and they want kids
