I was with a man that was in the navy and had a baby by him and he turned out to be a lier and a scum. He has nothing to do with his baby boy. I just want to know is it the miitary that does it ? I thought they would be different then from what I have met.

It doesnt have to do with the military, just like anything else there are really good ones and really bad ones. I have dated previous military guys and they seemed to have huge ego's and were total jack a$$'s but now i am happening to mary an ex soldier and Yes he is still a little cocky but nothing like the past guys. It really wasnt possible to avoid the military where i live, the bases are surrounding my town. So like i said it really just depends but let you in on a little conculsion some of us girls down here have conculded which is that the Marines are the worst of them all..

honey they are born with it. if anything the military should help. I married a military man and although he can be pgheaded he is far from scum. the military made him a proud and honorable man. chances are the guy was like that before he was enlisted.

nope.... it has everything to do with the individual man. It's like saying all truck drivers are scum, or all guys that spend late nights at the office are scum, or all guys that own their own business are scum. Just like are all women that work in victoria secret hoes? no. you can't stereotype like that... so stop it.

I know where you are coming from, but no they are not all scum, Men in uniform can easily attract the ladies (very nice I must say!!!) the problem is they know it!!

I know someone that did that..no to the same extent but yea..I think it rips something out of them..emotionally it's really tough but not everyone gets like that..I think it is just the emotionally or mentally weaker men that are vulnerable..at least that's what I think..depends i guess

men are men regardless of whether they where a uniform or not....not all are bad...just raise your boy without him - he is the one loosing out on the good stuff.....
