I asked a guy out and he said no. I had everything that I was going to say to him planned out and it all just blows out the window when I see him. I had it planned if he didn't talk to me and he isn't. Plus, it is 2 days after the rejection and I was starting to think that he isn't such a bad guy because he didn't tell anybody (if he had I thought I would've heard something by now). Right after I thought about that, I turned around a heard one of his friends telling someone else. I feel like just saying, "Ben, stay the h*** out of my buisness and mind your own d*** buisness!" He and I were friends before, why can't we be friends now??? What do I do???!!!

I never cheated on him, and there was nothing in the world I wouldn't do for him. People tell me time heals all wounds, but I still have not made any progess in the getting over process. I've dated new people but they don't compare; I simply do not feel the same way. I still talk to my ex on a regular basis and he says he doesn't know what the future holds but at the same time he isn't ready to "give me a chance". He broke up with me because I wasn't treating him right & the way I reacted to the break up pushed him away even further; he told me I killed his love for me. I have learned a lot since & have matured, I know what I did to ruil our relationship but I also know I'd never treat him that way again. He says he still loves me but isn't in love with me. I don't understand how a love can die from someone who once said I was the love of his life & nothing I could do would ever change that. I need advice, do I continue to wait for him? or force myself to completely let go?

Can relationships keep going after someone has cheated? or are they bound to end?

I was having a hard time a few weeks back, and i wasnt really talking to any one at all and it was my girlfriend who noticed and took it personaly.

But im back to normal now and im fine

But she just told me that she cheated on me in the time that i was not really talking, she said that she dosnt really know why she would do something like that because she had it happen to her (her boyfriend before me cheated on her and they broke up)
and she said she thinks she only did it to me because she was thinking that i didnt want to be with her. She said shes so sorry and she loves me and would like to go on if i would forgive her.

I said i would forgive her, and i would like to go on.

But can relationships really work out after someone cheats and do you think she is likly to cheat again? (Once a cheater always a cheater) kinda thing

this girl was going out with someone....and well i had liked her since before she got with her boyfriend.....then it came to a point where i kissed her and she began to cheat on him...and i loved this girl and i still do and she loved me..then it got to the point where jealousy started to take over sometimes...and it came to a point where my friend called her a hoe and she later told me she had lost so much love for me because of that so then i ended it and i thought and felt like i was over her because before then i had no interest in any other girls......until i eneded it
then she had gotten in to trouble because she had gotten a hickey from him.....and at that point i felt so almost over her i began to be friends with her b/f and he told me that he gave her a hickey and i felt this tremendous amount of jealousy..and i didnt know why..
and i still dont...i love her.......i just dont know what to do i cant get over her...what should i do...and why did i feel so jealous

I used to work with this guy and I was the one that started talking to him. I thought he would talk to be nice but after I quit he wanted to keep in touch. We would email each other every once in a while I guess we were both too nervous to call the other. Well I went to visit some co workers and he stopped me and brought me in his office to talk. Once again he flirted and told me he would call. I thought he was full of hot air but he ended up calling me and he has been calling every other day. He has kinda been forward and told me that he is more than willing to do whatever it is I want from him no matter what it is. This flirting has been going on since October and not once has he ever came through on his passes. I'm tired of waiting on him to make a move. Should I just plain tell him what I want from him and if so how should I do it?

My fiance and I are planning a vintage themed wedding. So we have decided to make black and white copies of family members photos (see my question I posted an hour ago) and incorporate them into the reception.

We are going to play all Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole type music during cocktail hour and dinner.

Any other ideas on how to decorate or add to the vintage theme?

I am currently writing a story and have very bad writer's block. I can post all I have for everyone to read. I have the entire plot ready for the story, but I need help with proceeding forward. Anything anyone has for ideas is wonderful and I would love to hear from you.

Since the story is only three pages long so far, I can post the entire thing, if anyone is really interested to help. I have to leave in ten minutes or so, however.

Talk about feeling a little guilty. My friend has a dog tied up in his back yard. He is mean ( half wolf mix). His neighbor ( we all know each other from work) told me his dog dissapeard. He is very upset he cried and everything and even offered a reward for any info on the whereabouts of his dog. My friend with the mean dog told me the other guys dog wandered in his back yard ( the fence was messed up) and he found the remains near his dog and it was nasty. He said he hid the remains by some RxR tracks near there home as a cover. I looked and didn't see them. I feel really bad for the guy who lost his dog. I don't want to deal with being stuck in the middle.but I feel guilty for knowingand not saying anything. I said maybe you should tell him you found his dog by the RxR tracks he said no I don't like the other guy anyway. Any ideas on how to let him know his dog is dead somehow without blameing the guy with the mean dog? I dont live over there so the RxR trks story wont work for me.

I try not to play games in relationships, but it seems like all the advice I get from people is suggesting that I play hard to get or some other games. I have to admit that my non-game playing hasn't gotten me very far though.

What do you think about games and relationships? Are they helpful or hurtful and why?

PS: I'm not talking about chess. lol

ive never really had a steady job but i was going to college (i recentley dropped out). im getting married soon and i dont plan on working and the person im marrying actually prefers i dont anyway so i can take care of the house and cook and stuff. everyone has been giving me such a hard time about this. my soon to be husband doesnt make that much money and everyone keeps telling me i need to get a job. i feel like a failure for not working but there is nothing that would make me happier then taking care of all my husbands needs in the home. am i failure for not working? why is this so unexeptable now a days when back in the day it was what everyone did? why is everyone making me feel like im a lazy failure?

I'm engaged to my best friend of 10 years. We grew up together as little kids. Although we have a great relationship, everyone tells me "Oh, well when I was young and didnt know anything, I thought my marriage would work out too, but it didnt. You may think you know everything because you're young, but when you get MY age, you'll see that marriage doesnt always work out just because you love each other." I HATE this! What do you say to that? Its so rude! I get it all the time! He's the only boyfriend I've ever had, and we've been dating for 5 years without a breakup or anything and just adore each other, what is thier basis to think that it wont work out? And why do they think its thier duty to tell me?

I'm falling in love with a friend who has a girlfriend. I never tried to break them up, but after a couple of months of spending alot of time with him. We began to develop a good friendship and then started flirting alot. I spoke to him about it when i started to really care for him, i explained that i felt it was not right and that we should stop and that i had feelings for him. It did stop, then it went back to how it was with the flirting, this has happened a few times. We never talk about what is really going on, so i never really know how he feels. I dont know what to do anymore, i care more for him each time i see him. How can i get him to tell me exactly how he feels without confronting him about it. What can i do to make him make a decision and stick to it? Any advice?
