I used to work with this guy and I was the one that started talking to him. I thought he would talk to be nice but after I quit he wanted to keep in touch. We would email each other every once in a while I guess we were both too nervous to call the other. Well I went to visit some co workers and he stopped me and brought me in his office to talk. Once again he flirted and told me he would call. I thought he was full of hot air but he ended up calling me and he has been calling every other day. He has kinda been forward and told me that he is more than willing to do whatever it is I want from him no matter what it is. This flirting has been going on since October and not once has he ever came through on his passes. I'm tired of waiting on him to make a move. Should I just plain tell him what I want from him and if so how should I do it?

Ask him out girl! There's nothing wrong with that, especially if you're at a point and want to make something happen.

Apparently you two are past the formalities, so forget about the 50s culture that says the guy should ask you out!!

Just go for it! Flirt so much that he can't help but respond; that's how I got my now boyfriend. I literally fell in love with him quite suddenly (yeah, I know, corny but eh) in May, then school ended for the year and we went home, 400 miles apart. I was the one who initiated emails, and we talked that way all summer, eventually leading up to me planting it in his head to call me, which he did and we talked for 4 hours! When we got back to school in August, I flirted a lot and made sure to spend a ton of time with him. Eventually, while we were taking a walk one day, I just grabbed his hand. Less than three days later, we were officially a couple (and he had finally stepped up to the plate!) Nice guys need you to take the initiative; probably this guy respects you and all women so highly that he is petrified of doing anything to hurt or offend you, but if you reach out for him, he will come right to you and things will be marvelous.

Wait till Valentines Day and see if you get anything from him. If you don't, move on. He might be just a bit shy or think that you aren't being serious, but if he doesn't have enough gumption to have figured you out by now, I'd say he's a bit thick. Move on.

If he hasn't made a real move by now he may never make it. He may not really be interested in that kind of relationship. If you make the first move it could make you look slutty.

in this case, yes, i would tell him what i want unless i'm not ready for a relationship yet. i take it he's waiting for you to give a green light signal or tell him what his next step should be... maybe just ask him out on a lunch date or exercise date the next time he calls? wish you luck :)

it is not wise to have a work related romance. you mentioned something about his office was he your manager that is a no no if the manager dates someone thats under him. No don't tell him because if he really wanted you he would have gotten in them pants already. Or maybe he is gay.

i suggest trying to meet someone else whos not such a big flirt. it may be old fashioned, but it always feels better for the guy to make the first moves.
