So I've been dating a girl for about six months and I really care about her and want to show it come the 14th (we're 24). The dilemna is that I will be out of town on business and will not get to spend the actual day with her. When she found out she had mentioned she never really had a valentine while in a real relationship. I want to do something a little over the top so she remembers. What would you girls think if you got three small arrangements. Like....... one sent to her office in the morning and one in the evening (8hr Shift) and maybe a third sent to her house. I was thinking one for the past, one for not being with her that day and one with reference to the future. I don't know, it seemed like a decent idea, jus wanted a couple opinions. Thanks

am I right in assuming that they're trying to say something? My husband is in the army and he gave one of his friends my email address. Now his friend instant messages me all the time. I really don't care for the guy but he's always telling me to go to his page and check out his pictures and tell him what i think or talking to me about all the girls he likes or that like him...or he's telling me that he;s not hitting on me. I told my husband and my husband told him not to send messages to me anymore. He just sent one about 10 minutes ago and i told him we're not supposed to talk anymore. Whats this guys deal? He's so annoying!

My girlfriend for 4 years got online and said she was looking for another guy so I broke up with her but she was crying and saying she was just mad at me and she realized what a mistake she made but this isnt the first time....so she says that now she really understands and how sorry she is I think she really means it, but I dont know how to believe her, can someone give me some advice?

His mom is the worst! She gets a check from the government every month for having "multiple personality disorder". In almost 3 years I've yet to see anything close to her being crazy but have seen a lot of her manipulating. His parents have been split up for almost 5 years and he has been taking care of her even had her live with us for a year. She talked him out of us getting married when we first found out I was pregnant and even talked about commiting suicide. Recently she talks about breaking up with her trucker boyfriend that helps her out financially and has asked us for money a couple of times. Or should I say talks him into it and then it causes trouble between he and I because of it. I just want her to get out of our lives and stop being such a leech. Steve wont tell her no becuase he feels obligated, but I feel like she is grown and should be able to take care of herself. I wish I knew what to do. I dont want to sepend the rest of my life with her taking advantage of us.

He's my best friend and I told him that I liked him and everything, but I told him through a letter and he, well.....never brought it up with me. People told me that he doesn't feel the same, but if I really like him(which I do, I may even be in love with him) should I still try to be more than friends with him or should I just give up and forget about my feelings? I told him how I felt 3 or 4 months ago and even though I've had a chance to go out with other guys, I turned them down in hope that maybe he will eventually tell me he feels the same way. Some people tell me that he likes me and other people think differently.
So should I just give it up or what?

I seem to have plenty of first dates but no second dates. All my dates end with me saying I enjoyed meeting you and he says the same. There have been some guys that I have wanted to see again but never heard from. I know they were probably just not interested in me but I would like to do something subtle to make it obvious that I would like to be asked out again without being too upfront just in case I meet someone that does want to meet again but thinks I might not be interested. What could I say or do (nothing unladylike or pushy) to let a guy know I really did enjoy meeting him?

my ex-gf called me after 3 years, we talk for a few times and everything was fine but then the last 2,3 times I was drunk and I acted kind of pushy and desperate, so she stoped calling me, but I love her so much and I was waiting for a day that she would call me but I missed this chance to take her back. now what do you think I should do or anything I can say to her or if I have another chance at all? by the way the reason that she broke up with me 3 years ago was because I was pushy and desperate so I don't want her to think I'm still too desperate by calling her wich I'm sure she would hate me.

so...my best friend is a guy and we've been friends for a while. he's a really really great guy, but a bit too innocent and boring. the problem is, he is actually like "in love" with me, which is pretty weird. he really cares about me more than anybody ever has, but i dont necessarily feel the same way about him...tho i like to talk to him and be around him. i have mixed feelings and its really hard to know whats going on. mind that i am still young, a senior in high school and if i do start anything with him i know it will get serious. im young, i want to have fun. also, i dont really think that he'll take the role of the guy in the relationship, cuz i am already in too much control. i am so confused...what the hell do i do? thank you soo much in advance

We fool around a lot, pretty much everything but intercourse. He thinks I'm pretty shy as I don't take the initiative to undress him nor am I the first one to give oral--he usually gives oral and I follow suite with reciprocating it. I don't like him looking at me give him oral. I also hate doing all of this with the lights on. He also takes the initiative to kiss me on the neck, on my stomach, on my thighs, but I can't seem to kiss him anywhere but his lips. I feel like a boring partner.

I want to get over this, as I think I'm ready to have sex with him, but I can't seem to shake this shy thing. Suggestions?

BACKGROUND: Well, my girlfriend had been dating this scumbag for a year who consistently beat her, cut her, and eventually drugged and raped her at a birthday party. Her parents noticed bruises, etc, and after being hospitalized for the emotional trauma he caused her, she got an order of protection.

PROBLEM: Her Ex has her same lunch period at school. She calls me frequently saying that he had abused her in some way - sitting next to her and inappropriately touching, pushing her into the lockers, elbows, etc. The school reprimands him with hour detentions, which do nothing.

My first instinct is to kick his cowardly asss to the moon- I live 45 mins away- seems too aggressive of me to plan my day around assaulting someone.
I have called him with warnings (seem to work for a couple days). I have called his parents.
WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?
If I were to meet up with him and, say, break his nose- physical yet minor- what's the worst that would happen to me legally if he pressed charges?
