so...my best friend is a guy and we've been friends for a while. he's a really really great guy, but a bit too innocent and boring. the problem is, he is actually like "in love" with me, which is pretty weird. he really cares about me more than anybody ever has, but i dont necessarily feel the same way about him...tho i like to talk to him and be around him. i have mixed feelings and its really hard to know whats going on. mind that i am still young, a senior in high school and if i do start anything with him i know it will get serious. im young, i want to have fun. also, i dont really think that he'll take the role of the guy in the relationship, cuz i am already in too much control. i am so confused...what the hell do i do? thank you soo much in advance

Since he is your best friend then talk too him, let him know that you arent ready for a serious relationship right now. Just tell him what is on your mind , tell him that you value his friend ship and you dont want to lose it .

He might be playing down to you now, but things could change if your relationship changes. Trust me, from an "innocent and boring guy" in the friend position could be a much different guy as a boyfriend. You have to decide what you are risking and what you could be gaining. Has he been pressing on you to move the relationship on? I'd say play it by feel until you are more sure. If he brings it up, you might have to confront it, so be ready.

Well I've been in this situation...a lil different, but my best friend eventual started have stronger feel'ns...i think you should look at the advantages & dis advanagtes to yall actually being together relationship wise. Jus think bout wut wld happen if yall was to break up...wld yall still b frenz? Its a lot to think about, and it take serious thought! I came to the conclusion not be with my best friend relationship wise, i told him how i felt...& he's fine with that! So just have a long talk w/ ur friend, but u are young and theres a lot to see before getting to serious w/ anyone!

just tell him how you feel. it the best way, if you dont feel as he
does then you need to let him know. and you right you are
at a age that you want to do things have fun etc. so just let
him know this. if he is really a friend he will understand this.

how sure are that he's like in love with you.. don't assume. anyways, you have a very nice friendship with him keep it that way until you feel the same way for him..as you have stated you feel he's in love with you.. well.. if he is he'll wait for you..until you are ready..for now keep the friendship but don't abuse his act of kindness for you...that will hurt and eventually you just might loose him as one of your best buds..
