thinks I'm stressing too much when the only reason I'm stressing is she doesn't want to work out these issues! ...and they aren't anything terrible, but if we can't work things out, it's going to be tough. These are things that mean a lot to me and... ugh... How can I do this? Any advice?

This is the only former boyfriend he's ever been around. I can tell he's just a little jealous (it's kind of cute) but I've done nothing to encourage these feelings. We just found out this guy is moving back to town and we'll be seeing lots of him. My boyfriend sees him more often than I do.

I'm not sorry for having dated this guy. We had lots of fun. I've already found the love of my life, but the stupid jokes need to stop?
I thought of a romantic intervention so he'll stop thinking these stpud things.........anyone care to share how they've handled these
situations??????

My husband and I are bitterly divorcing but have managed to agree temporarily to a joint stipulation parenting agreement. In this agreement, my husband is required to pick up the kids every other weekend-he lives 5 miles from us- or give at least 24 hour notice-for an emergency reason only-that he is not getting them.
Well-for the sixth weekend in a row, I have dressed and prepared my children for their visit only to be stood up-total no show. Now, I am required to make them available for pickup regardless and must plan my weekends around this schedule so I just dont think its fair that he has the right to just not show. Someone told me he didnt, actually, and I should file a contempt of court case.
So, my question is-can I even do that? Or can I just stop preparing my children for his visit and not wait on him? And, if I do file-must I pay my lawyer money I dont have to file or can I do it on my own?

I started to date a Christian Girl. Not on purpose, more an accident, we just met. I am Christian too, but I hardly go to church. I strongly believe in God and came to agree to Christian values after coming a long way and a couple of poor choices in my past. But again, I am still not an "active" Christian. She goes to church a lot. ... how "are" Christian Girls? I don't consider her boring or anything, pretty much the opposite. She is cool. Us hanging out is so much fun. I don't feel any pressure from either side to "have" to take it to the next level.

So ... Christian Girls: How "are" you? Just as everybody else? Or are the certain things I should know?

I've been with my boyfriend for 2 years now. I am very shy and very quiet and for the past couple months it has really been getting to me. I am planning on calling him and asking him to come over to my house then I want to talk to him about things I have been keeping in and why I have been keeping it all in. It is going to be extremely hard for me to do this but I'm going to do my best. I think he will understand and if he doesn't then I don't know what I'm going to do. It is so hard for me to express my feelings to people I go to school with and even people I work with. The people that I can say anything to is my family, mostly my mom and my sister. I know communication is the key in any successful relationship but I just don't have that. My new years resolution is to speak my mind about anything and I know it is going to take a while for this to happen all the time but I willing to take the time and let myself become comfortable around people. What should I do???Thank You!!!

Hello everyone

I have a very important question and I know that you guys here can help me. My husband-so I think-and I were married May 2, 2004 in our home, which was Mississippi, by his father. The thing is, his father isn't an active preacher anymore. He used to be a preacher several years ago, but hasn't in several years. We both signed the papers and took them to the courthouse, but are we legally married? The only people who were there was our children, his father, me and my "husband".

Okay so me and my ex gf split up after 6 years. She felt like she loved me just as a friend and no longer as a bf and said that she is bored of the relationship. Anyways I told her that I didn't want to talk for a month and she kept on calling me. Everytime she called she would be crying and saying that she is soo confused and kept giving different reasons for the break up. Just 3 days ago she said that she still loves me but right now she needs her space and doesn't have no energy to be in the relationship. Yesterday we talked and she said that she doesn't love me at all and that she doesn't ever wanna be in a relationship. She is sooo confused, even her friends say that she doesn't know what she wants. She tells me that I'm amazing and perfect for her in everyway. We decided that today we would talk about it and figure out exactly whats going on. She is coming over in half an hour, need advice on how to get her back!! or find out exactly whats wrong. Please help!!!!

ok, well. i had a gift for an old teacher, one who i give a christmas gift to every year. but i procrastinate and didnt get it to her real fast. i knew my mother would be mad that i didnt drop it off yet, so i put it in my trunk, and told my mom that i dropped it off. (i planned on dropping it off this weekend).
well, my mom found it in my trunk and now, of course, is so mad at me for lying, because she thinks im an honest kid. for the most part, i am, but in order to have her not be mad at me for not getting the gift to my teacher yet, i lied and told her i did. now she is really mad, and i understand but i dont know what to say in order to get her to be able to know, im not an awful kid, i messed up and lied to her once. (i always tell her where im going, if i had been drinking, you know. etc.) any ideas on how to make her see i really am sorry and have her forgive me so it isnt awkward in the house every time we pass eachother for the next million weeks?

one gift is about the size of a box a necklace comes in and it is from my aunt who buys girly things for me (i, myself, would suspect it to be jewely). Another box is a little bigger and looks about the size of two of those boxes sticked on top of each other. it is from the same aunt. another looks like a cylender-octagon thing and i cant remember who its from. i have no clue how to describe the other gift shape, so i'll exclude that one. what do your think they are?

This week is my 5-year relationship anniversary with my boyfriend, but we don't have any plans. We get along well, but our relationship is stale. He seems to think there is no problem, even though I tell him often that I would like us to do more together (have a picnic, go for a drive, ice skating, bowling, scrapbooking, etc.). I have a lot of interests but all he seems to want to do is see an occassional movie or play videogrames. I don't mind doing those things, but not at the expense of everything else. He often complains that I'm "not in the mood" enough, and I ask him how I'm supposed to be in the mood when all he wants to do is sit around and never do anything mentally or emotionally stimulating. What gets me is how people think sex is a MUST in a relationship but when a woman wants romance, she's told she should just appreciate what she has (because otherwise, my bf is a GREAT person). Can anyone relate/give tips or opinions? Thanks.

Every time we turn around, we find articles from all over the country re older (usually over age 30) teachers having sexual relationships with teenager girls, or other older men sexually assaulting girls even younger. An older woman in my family says that men, regardless of how sexually active they are THEMSELVES, and underneath it all, want YOUNG, far less experienced sexual partner tan himnself, and that even if he loves his same-age or nearly the same age wife or lover, he is always looking for something younger.. She says part of the reason is because women today are forever competing with men, from the boardroom, to the bedroom. She also says that underneath it all, men resent these 'usually older' female competitors, and that as far as the bedroom is concerned, they DON'T want older sexuallly experienced women. They want youth. What do you think?

(and yes I know about the female teachers - but today I am taliing about the males.)

I'm a fraternal twin, six minutes older. My twin is my sister.

All my life I've heard all sorts of junk about how having a twin is so great, and this is making me feel really guilty.

I'm the exact opposite of my twin and I hate her. I'm skinny, she's an emotional eater. I'm logical, she wears her heart on her sleeve. I have outstanding willpower, she has none. I don't like much physical contact, she can't live without it. I'm neat, she's a slob. This is a real problem since we share a small bedroom and her job is keeping it clean -as in I get grounded if I clean my room-.

People keep telling me that having a twin is a blessing or sh*t like that. I've never met another set of twins to talk about this with, so I'm coming on here.

Does anyone else have a similar relationship with their twin? Insight, advice, that sort of thing? Or for normies, what do you think about being a twin?

Ive been dating this girl whom I love to death for 2 years. I have bought an engagement ring and all BUT I get frustrated because sometimes I think she can be needy. When we are apart for a couple weeks she gets upset when I have to hang up the phone. She wants me to call her whenever I have free time. I love her and I want to talk with her but I have other priorities and I just want some time to myself. I hate talking on the phone in the first place. I get frustrated with her and she gets upset with me. We basically live together and we work together and we sometimes have classes together. Yet it seems she is not happy with the amount of attention I give to her. Whenever I tell her that shes needy or a little too dependent she gets upset and I feel like the jerk. We love each other so very much and we want this to work but how can I help her realize that we both need our own space sometimes. It doesnt mean I dont love her anyless. Any advice?
