OK I don't have a driver's license and I am a male high school senior (I bike everywhere and I can't afford car insurance.) I know that for Prom, what *should* happen is that the guy picks up the girl, drives to dance, drives girl back, walks her to her door, drives off. However, this is not a possibility for me.

I have hitched rides with friends before (with a date) and it was awkward because with another person there, there was no romantic stuff going on. Plus the driver was her best friend (a girl) so for the whole ride they talked together and I just sat there LOL. I am thinking of maybe getting a limo, but since we only need to go 2 miles then it seems kind of pointless. By the time prom comes around, the girl I want to ask will be able to drive other people legally, so I was thinking of her driving me, but that seems completely unromantic and not good.

I am very much married, & happily, to a very nice guy; however, i also have an officemate who is so into me i am really aroused by the interest he shows on me... emotionally & sexually. I'm almost 20 years old and I have had no experience with men. Zip, nada, zilch. I am attractive and straight for sure so I asked a shrink in the last 15 minutes of a session why men never ask me out. I really can't afford to go back for a while.
She says it's because I'm very angry with men and they can tell. She said she could tell.
I just thought not trusting men was good common sense!
Anyway, do you have any advice/clarifications on how to get over this? Because I feel like it's time to start getting some experience if you know what I mean. Are they really only out for one thing? Do they have feelings like women do? Do they actually fall in love or is it just about lust? Should I even care?
Also, are men intimidated by independent, sarcastic, funny, and intelligent women? Or is it all about my prejudice?

i have been there and i have seen it...when problem comes its men who run away and they always blame it to relationa dn try to get over with it..even if they r married or committed...
