They all started hating me because i started hanging out with this other girl. Should i try to make things work or do i just forget about their friendship?

You should always be true to yourself and not change just to please other people. If you value the friendship of this other person, the forget about the other group.

As you get older, you will see that these people are really insignificant. Forget about them. I"m not sure just how old you are but my guess is that you are a teen, so you will see as you get older , you really only have a few true friends in life as you get older , so don't make a big deal about these other girls.

I think you should try to talk to your old friend and try to work everything out with them and if you all still dont come to the best conclusion just leave it alone and just hang out with your new friend and i promise your old friends will be sorry!!!!

Forget about it. Friendship doesn't work that way. If they were real friends, they wouldn't be that shallow.
