i pierced my ear again for the third time on the right ear (the one covered by my bangs) and my parents are making me take it out. my mum doesnt mind but my dad, who controls her every judgement, hates piercings and is making me take it out. i reallllyyy dont want to. how can i convince them to let me keep it? they think i should take it out because it was "irresponsible"... HELP!

It's their house and their rules. Once you are of legal age, then you can pierce whatever you want. Just take it out and look forward to the day that you'll be making your own decisions.

tell them you talked to the person who pierced your ear & that if you remove it now (since it was just pierced) it can grow an infection. WHICH IS TRUE ANYWAY! tell your Dad that you've gotta wait several months until the pierced area is healed. That way....when several months passes & he still ask you to take it off, you can take off the earing, but technically....the hole will still be there & permanently! So, you can put the earring back on when he's not looking.
If you take that earring off now, it is possible for an infection to grow & also.....the hole will close, you don't want that to happen, you will just end up wasting the money you spent when you pierced it. Tell your Dad quit being old fashioned! this is 2007. Earrings are not stood out to be a punk rocker look, rather it be more like, you needing it as a girl, because all girls have it!

well i dont know how old you are but you could talk to them and try and change your dads mind and tell them you think your old enough to make this decision on your own or you could wear when your not with them
it depends on you and your parents
but you should tell them that they should let you express yourself the way you want to

Unfortunatly, it is there house so unfortuatly, it is there rules. But they can not 'order' you on what to do out of the house so take the earring out at home but then put it back in out of your home.
