I don't think age has anything to do with a persons maturity. I have known older men that have acted like little boys and couldn't do anything for themselves. On the other hand I have known younger guys that behave very mature and can take care of themselves totally. It's the person not the age of the person.

I don't think you are being realistic about this. You never know who you will meet that you have a lot in common with and will click. If you set that in your mind that he has to be a certain age, you may be missing out on meeting your true soul mate. I think you should be more concerned with his personality, goals and morals...these are the important things to look for in a partner...not a particular age. It sounds like you are looking for a mentor or someone to take care of you rather than a life partner to share things with.

It all depends on how fast a person matures as to whether or not they will be better with someone older or someone their own age. Age is a discrimination factor so try not to base your marriage on age, instead look for someone you get along with quite well and love.

Not necessarily.

Wisdom is what matters, and at younger ages a set age difference can get you in to trouble. 13-year olds shouldn't be in relationships with 20-year olds.

I do not agree to be honest with you. I can understand a person who wants to have a person that it more experienced than them, but originally it is considered that females have more experience and wisdom and are supposed to, but do not have to, marry a younger man because of their intelligence and that they have a longer life expectancy.

You shouldn't put an age restriction on who you want to date. And you definately shouldn't be looking for a man to solve your problems. Look for a partner and friend.
