I've been with my boyfriend for 2 years now. I am very shy and very quiet and for the past couple months it has really been getting to me. I am planning on calling him and asking him to come over to my house then I want to talk to him about things I have been keeping in and why I have been keeping it all in. It is going to be extremely hard for me to do this but I'm going to do my best. I think he will understand and if he doesn't then I don't know what I'm going to do. It is so hard for me to express my feelings to people I go to school with and even people I work with. The people that I can say anything to is my family, mostly my mom and my sister. I know communication is the key in any successful relationship but I just don't have that. My new years resolution is to speak my mind about anything and I know it is going to take a while for this to happen all the time but I willing to take the time and let myself become comfortable around people. What should I do???Thank You!!!

before you start sharing your feelings with him make sure you are calm and tell him that its hard for you to do and then just go ahead i know it seems hard but the sooner you start and keep going the easier it will be i wish you luck
ps
one way to help you would be to practice what you are wanting to say to the person

good luck

Oh man, you sound like me! Just call him and write down notes in case you freeze temporarily. Try to let it all out...
