v usually speak on phone...but somedays he is really busy..v do fight every 3rd day...n i get emotional...but now my tears hv no value to him...he loves me alot..i kn..........but still....i cant stay w/o him tooo..???????

My husband and I've been through ALOT! He's not been there for the kids and I, been lying to me(little lies) all the time, is gone for 2-6 hrs. at a time EVERYDAY, helps his sister out ALL the time & usually with her when he's gone, never calls when he's gone, has cellphone calls in the other room, out in the garage, or even outside, hasn't wore his wedding ring for a while-the list could go on. I've tried everything! I asked him this weekend if he's doing drugs - he said no, I asked him if he were having an affair, again he said no, but had the nerve to get his ring out of bag and put it on right in front of me after asking him this. Well, we had a long talk last night and I turned the situation around on him. I asked him if he'd like it if I said "I'm going to the grocery store, was gone for 2 hrs., never called, and was out screwing someone for all he knew after giving him every reason to think so, would you like to think that, because that's how he makes me feel?"

i have a ex who sees my children a few time a week he wont arrange with me when he see them he sorts it out with my 11 year old daughter he picks them up and will not tell me when he is going to drop them off he just says when they get bored so my boyfriend and i cant go any where my daughter is not his but he is good enough to still see her his son is very loyal to me and i have no problems but my daughter is giving me hell she comes home with bags full of sweets which i have 2 step kids at home aswell and in my house i only allow sweets once a week so she sits there and eats the whole bag when i try to take them off her she says she will tell dad ! he knows i am scared of him and i feel im trying just to keep evryone happy please help

Hi,
I'm going to get married with my Indian boyfriend next year. What do you think what can I expect? we love each other very strong, we also both admit that there are cultural differences that will be quite tough to get through but we are also sure that God sent us to the Earth fo be happy with each other.
His parents are also happy for me, I talked to his sister on the phone, they are very nice.
His parents are pushing our marriage that I do not mind at all, since I also want it very strongly :-))))
My question is how should I imagine the Indian wedding? what are the expectations I need to meet? what are the traditions? do I need to bring any kind of presents? What is the role of the bride at a marriage?
I have seen the film 'Monsoon wedding' but I assume it is far from reality.
Please help me.

My fiance John and I are getting in a month. We want children as soon as possible. We have been living together for over two years now. We are financially and emotionally ready. John already has a two year old son, Lucas; and he shares custody of Lucas with his ex-girlfriend Laura. I have been with John since before Lucas was born, and I have had a large part in raising him. However, I KNOW that doesn't make me a mother, or ready to be one.

Laura keeps making comments like "Are you sure you and John will be able to afford Lucas's child support if you have a baby?" (She doesn't even know we're trying!!!) Not to mention that *I* don't pay her child support, but whatever. She keeps asking when we plan on having kids, and she's told friends that she wants to "beat us" in having kids. Dude, WHO CARES?!?!? It's not a race!!

How do I deal with her insidious comments? I can't avoid her, and I don't want to argue with her in front of Lucas.

it drives me nuts sometimes i just wanna holler at her to shutup or tell the truth.its not only family things its many different things.why do they do that? if i had to lie to people all the time it would be an effort as you always have to remember what you said and who you said it to. holly crap that would land aperson in the nut house.but she doesn't femember as many times i have been with her when she tells it to someone else and it's compleatly different. then she looks at me aand gets a weird look on her face because she must remember what she told me, so she does screws up sometimes in front of me. what can i say to her about it and yet i really like her i just don't like her lying?

my husband expects a lot from me for everything.. I'm a USA citizen but he is not. We both are staying in his country of origin. He badly wants to go to usa bt i'm not comfortable with his idea. I dont want to live in USA yet. I believe if he wants to migrate to usa, he should find his own ways to get there. I dont want him to make me feel used in the process but he doesn't understand that. Sometimes he fights me on this issue. He says i'm holding on to his success while not taking him to USA. i do believe that a husband/wife should help one another but in my case, i want him to grow on his own. I want him to use his own capablities and make a difference in my heart. However, he wants the easy way out that is through me. Tell me am I wrong on this? He calls me selfish. In the past, he's cheated on me too and still does it sometimes. I've given him many chances, should i still stand by his side or should move on alone?
His personality scares me bz he is unpredictable. any advice?

I've been married to this guy for 21/2 yrs... I did my wifely duties (I mean everything).. but for some reason nothing I did was good enough...even went to counceling...it was a roller coaster ride....he was not interested in sex (rather watch porno..but he was hiding it)

I thought the porno was the only problem..find out he was cheating on me all along.. the other girl knows that he's married.

We are separated now and I move to different state... I'm about to file for divorce... to add insult to injury, I did some investigation and find out that he use our credit card when he bought her plane ticket last december to visit him, but for some reason it was cancelled....now the girl was about to use thesame ticket to see him for Thanksgiving and b-day. He denied about the other girl when I confronted him...(He'll find out sooner or later that I knew... coz I cancelled the ticket)...I want revenge.. or should I let "KARMA" take care of it.... :( :(

Hello,
my stepmother in law, whom I don't see very often, was very mean on my last visit. She constantly put me down with phrases such as ' you are out of shape, you can't even get up the stairs'(I am fat but also 6 months pregnant), 'don't think only about yourself', 'I am not stupid, I am 53', 'you are borgeois raised and ignorant to women's issues'... And I guarantee you, I was not being selfish or ignorant. She just seems to lash these comments explosively and in an overblown way. Could she be on the way to becoming like her own bipolar mother? I just sat and said nothing after such yells, what would you do instead?
