I agree with the husband. She is able bodied and can work. there is more than one side to a story. She should'nt expect to sit on her butt and get a free ride. Nice try, honey

Tell your sis to get a lawyer or she will be **** out of luck....If she has no job, she could possibly get alimony also......If she signs the ammiccable settlement papers without legal counsel she may end up in serious financial trouble with no way to do anything about it after the fact....
Laws in different states vary......Find out whats what about it before she signs anything.....Dont let the husband make all the decisions about what he will or wont do.....GOOD LUCK !

There must be more to this story for someone to assist.
Depending on your States Family Laws:
Yes. There are financial supports that she may request such as:
*Child Support (if there are any minor children)
*Spousal Support (if they have been married over a year)

If there is no prenup, then depending on the lifestyle that she had before they met and the lifestyle that he has introduced her to, she could possibly receive financial support, in additional to child support.

It depends on the law, which will vary between countries. She needs to see a lawyer. She may be able to use one through legal aid.
