i want to know how he found my gf id...and she wasnt in chat room she was online with me....this guys is blackmailing both of us that he will boot us and crashed ur system...is there any way that i can hack his id so he will never contact my gf again..he is giveing my gf id to another guys and this guy keep bugging me and asking me where is ur gf...in short they bugging us....that indian guys id is lover_boy7641 can any one close his id for ever...i am pissed of with this guy..help me guys

You did not say what chat rooms you are in (AOL, Yahoo, MSN), but each of them has a monitor. There is a real person you can file a complaint with.

You can also file a complaint with the phone company (dsl, cable, whichever) and the servers like AOL, YAHOO and MSN.

One thing you might want to do is go to the Trend Micro site, here:

and run their House Call program. It is free, and will check for key loggers and other such troublemakers. It sounds as if you have a very, very weak firewall, for him to be able to identify you. Your ports should be invisible to other users! If they can't find your port, they can't get to you. Windows Firewall is not enough.

Another way is to create an account on your computer .. something BESIDE an administrator's account. One with limited privileges. When you are online, use it. As for helping you hack him...it isn't easy. It will get you in big trouble. About the only thing you can do is use developers tools like Page Source or a more sophisticated tool, and check the information to see where that bad guy is identified. If you get email, you can check extended headers and get information also.
Make notes of dates and times he harasses you. Use the PrintScreen function (top right side of your keyboard) to take a 'photo'-like image of your screen .. then go to Word Pad and paste it in. Save it. You have a photograph of the incident for prosecution.

Ppl can't hack into your computer through IDs. Just tell ur gf to make a new sn and try to block his sn. Deleting his sn won't help much, he can just create a new one. So try it. =)
