This is the most difficult thing, I know I am going through it right now too. the pain is unbearable. I want everything to go back to when we were together. I have gone through it before, never did it seem like it was this bad. but i know we will get through it. I know it. Time heals all wounds, so they say. So let's see. Good luck.

First is 'ACCEPTANCE' that you do not have the relationship with the guy anymore. It would be very hard but this should be the first step to move forward. As the saying goes, move on and do not live in the past. I am not saying that you are not meant for each other. If destiny will be in your side, in the future, you will still be back to each others arms. Get out with your friends for the meantime to ease the pain. It may take long but you have to face it. It will make you stronger no matter what the ending will be.

Best wishes.

I've had the privilege of loving more than once in my life, as have most people. Loving someone and being able to stay with someone are two completely different things. If you are fortunate enough to find a guy that you both love and are compatible with, then you are truly blessed. In the mean time, do your best to learn what you can from this experience. Take the time and energy to improve on weaknesses you've discovered in yourself and most of all, be sure to be kind and generous to yourself. The only relationship you can truly depend on in life is the one you have with yourself, so make it a good one. Get to know yourself, appreciate and enjoy yourself. If you do that, then it will be contagious and soon you will find someone who will enjoy you as much as you enjoy them. I hope the best for you.

Yes, you love him. And he will be on your mind. I f you want to end it, then you have to end it and not be wishy washy.
But it can benifit you if you are aware ahead of time that you will be in a certain state.
So, i would get good and hurt and...

Occupy your mind with something that will prove positively beneficial as you might end up spending lots of time with it. For instance, if its work, or career that is, focus on whatever will prove most profitable over time. I say this because you can be capable of being interested in things you normally would not be, when you are trying to forget a past. So take the position that pays more but is far away.

As well, pain can hurt, weather it be feeling or physical pain. And like many other emotions, it can be channeled. Take the powerful overwhelming energy of the hurt and whatever other feelings involve your memory and focus on something else. Try to stop the pain you have by accomplishing whatever focus you have. And notice yourself feel better.

the only real answer is;time!sure you're hurt but, you're still alive.thats what pain is for,to remind you of something you once had.and if what you had was good then the memories should carry you though.
i know you'll thumbs down this but,hey you gotta be honest.the only thing thats gonna help you get over someone or something else is ;Time!!!

we all have people we love that we can't be with.

Besides love isn't love unless it goes both ways.

You will have to go through a grief period. Then move on.
You will be fine. Better than fine eventually.
