She says it's not her fault because we were dressed in the same costume, so she thought it was me. I tend to think she is lying, because that chick DID NOT look like Darth Vader to me. She says she did, and because she wasn't wearing her glasses, it was an "oopsie", and should be forgiven. So after the fire department left, and her car was towed away, I told her "oopsie". And now she's mad at ME!! Can you believe her? She has insurance. And besides, her hair will grow back. I need a new girfriend. I'm sick of her lies.

I met my girlfriend over the internet. We are from different countries. I came over to her country and currently live with her. We do love each other a lot, but I'm concerned. She's very jealous and thinks I will cheat on her. I don't have a stellar track record with relationships, and she always reminds me of this. She's also in a mini-war with my mother and my sister. She claims that I'm not as in love as I once was. Truth is, all of these things make it harder to be attracted to her in any way. Should I be patient with her and hope that things will get better?

I chose a bridesmaid dress that is $205.00 which includes alterations. They are also running a special that the dresses are tax free. So, the total is $205.00. One of my bridesmaids (my fiances sister) feels the dress is too expensive. She thinks she can get the same dress at a different bridal shop cheaper. Should I just give her the designer and item # and let her get it somewhere different than the rest of us? She says she doesnt care about alterations being included because she isnt going to need any alterations??? I dont want to be rude or demanding because this is going to be my sister-in-law but I dont want to take a chance that something goes wrong with the dress. HELP!!

please give honest opinons and don't write me off cos i know i might sound jealous and petty. my boyfriend is moving in with his best female friend just him and her who he fancied when he first met her. she is renound for sleeping around and has no scruples for going after men in relationships in fact it gives her a buzz to do that. she isn't very pretty so it's not like i think she's a real threat cos she's a real stunner and he doesn't fancy her now and nothing has ever happened between them and they have been friends for 2 years. he knows i don't like her and don't like the way she behaves. don't get me wrong i have loads of close girlfriends and usually i'm a real girls girl.

basically can someone tell me i'm not being ridiculous cos he says i am but can he love me that much if he moves in with her when he knows it makes me feel prickly and is it understandable i feel jealous and weird about it cos whether it's right or wrong i just do!!!

elp!

I met a guy a few weeks ago (2.5) and we hit it off right away. We went out a few times, and then last friday night we went to a hockey game and then out to the bar where we both had too many drinks. I stayed at his place but I offered to sleep on the couch, but he said no why don't you sleep in my room because it's more comfortable. Well ok fine. I really like this guy so I started to make out with him a bit, but all of a sudden he is pulling a condom out of the drawer assuming we are going to have sex. I said no and he looked stunned. Usually this guy is so quiet and shy and polite, but he made some comment about not waiting for it forever. The next morning he didn't remember what he said but he did apologize for being 'pushy'. He cooked me breakfast and gave me a kiss goodbye and then I talked to him that night. I haven't heard from him in about 2 days, and I am wondering if I am overreacting in thinking that he only wanted one thing from me and that's why he was so sweet.

Seems like almost every girl in my social group think that men are all the same....but every now and then they admit to meeting a man that has something different....something rare that other men don't have and it goes beyond confidence....

How would you describe this quality?

My new boyf had a really bad rep before we were together, which he never hides from me. Since we have been together, things have been great, bar the fact that we live so far apart. We get together as much as we can, and when we are together things are fantastic. He has booked a holiday and wants us to move in together, even tho we have only been together a few months. Because of the way I have been treated in the past tho (my ex of 3 1/2 years cheated on me with several different people) and his past reputation, I just seem to be paranoid that hes going to let me down so to speak. I havent let on to him that I am thinking this, and tell him I do trust him. I think it is my own insecurities coming into play. How can I put my mind at rest without making him think it is his fault I have trust issues?

I am taking care of my 8 year old nephew and 2 year old niece through dhs. they have separate fathers and their mother lost her parental rights. I am on the verge of adopting my nephew and I would like to adopt my niece, her father's trying to get her back, I know he loves her and she needs her father, I wouldn't want him out of her life, but, we love her too. What's in the best interest of the child be considered, not just his parental rights, we are very attached to her and I know us taking care of her was temporary. But, my other worry is that her and her brother are very close and I don't want them to be separated, he already lost his mother and father and now he might lose his sister. I would like people's feedback on this matter.

i really like this guy - and he likes me too - he has asked me out on a date - but i've heard from everyone who knows him (including my brother) that he is a cassanova. I also know that hehas a girlfriend (who he says he is breaking up with - yeah right). My only problem is that he is so sweet like all players are. I went on a date with him (before i knew about the girlfriend) and we got on so well (my explanation sounds lame even to me) but i really have a problem telling him. Help!!

Yesterday we were talking about how some women can be so homely that they look like a man dressed like a woman. My 15 year old daughter said "Yea, like your ex." My husband became defensive and said. "Do you always have to be insulting?" We haven't been married long, so the testing time is still going between these two. So the fight was on with her being tacky and him telling her she was being rude and me telling her to quit being hateful. Then he was angry with me because I giggled a little at her quick wit with the opening remark and the fact that I didn't outright tell her to shut up. But after him defending his ex's beauty of 20-25 years ago, all I could think was that he still loves her, so I was trying to curb my thoughts so that this didn't come out in a family discussion. Was he just defending his taste of 25 years ago and correcting my daughters insulting dry sense of humor, or is he truely still having fond memories of his ex so much so that he feels that he has to defend her?

Ok. We've been friends for about 2 months and she knows I like her. She's not the type of girl who would just go along with your scheme. If she wants something she'll have it, and vice versa. What do I do to take this friendship to a new level, without being too blunt about it. Like, I need that one move that'll change everything. I just don't know what it is yet.
