I met a guy a few weeks ago (2.5) and we hit it off right away. We went out a few times, and then last friday night we went to a hockey game and then out to the bar where we both had too many drinks. I stayed at his place but I offered to sleep on the couch, but he said no why don't you sleep in my room because it's more comfortable. Well ok fine. I really like this guy so I started to make out with him a bit, but all of a sudden he is pulling a condom out of the drawer assuming we are going to have sex. I said no and he looked stunned. Usually this guy is so quiet and shy and polite, but he made some comment about not waiting for it forever. The next morning he didn't remember what he said but he did apologize for being 'pushy'. He cooked me breakfast and gave me a kiss goodbye and then I talked to him that night. I haven't heard from him in about 2 days, and I am wondering if I am overreacting in thinking that he only wanted one thing from me and that's why he was so sweet.

He is embarrassed at his actions. He DOES remember and is hoping that you'll accept the lame excuse. The fact is that he likes you and doesn't want to scare you away. I don't know how committed he is to the relationship (3 weeks is not really all that long) so I would wait this one out for several more weeks. Kissing, hugging, petting...but stay away from the drunking temptations. Wait until you're both comfortable with SOBER sex...then you'll be much happier!

Well, it kinda depends on your age.
If he know you are not a virgin, and you agreed to sleep in his bed, then he assumed you were gonna give it up.
You should not have led him on. He is still an *** for making the comment, but you did give hem the hope.
You should not get into bed with a guy if you do not want to sleep with him, unless you have made it CLEAR beforehand. A little communication could have saved you both some emberrassment.

ok - from a female's attitude. intercourse is intercourse. that's not a assure for skill love. hey, why are you airing this on the net? I'm embarassed enough. give a guy a break! Just kidding. i'm not him. wish i was though. at least i would have tried to be sensitive. when i drink to much, or rather, when i did drink too much, i fell asleep. i do remember one time in college i was accused of yelling at a girl, "Do you want to **** in the pool?" and one time when girls were at a party and asking about penises, i pulled mine out for them to measure. that's pretty bad stuff but when you're drunk you don't remember. i met one girl at a party and we had sex about 2 in the morning after i was only mildly drunk and after i came (I don't think she did) i rolled over and went to sleep. i hung out for 2-3 more days and didn't even get a kiss...that was stuipid.
bottom line....being a guy is bad enough. being a drunk guy give us more opportunity to **** girls off. i'm sorry this happened to you but i'm guessing the guy has remembered what happened, feels awful and because he really likes you is embarassed to talk to you.
give him a call. but don't have drinks again for awhile.
