My new boyf had a really bad rep before we were together, which he never hides from me. Since we have been together, things have been great, bar the fact that we live so far apart. We get together as much as we can, and when we are together things are fantastic. He has booked a holiday and wants us to move in together, even tho we have only been together a few months. Because of the way I have been treated in the past tho (my ex of 3 1/2 years cheated on me with several different people) and his past reputation, I just seem to be paranoid that hes going to let me down so to speak. I havent let on to him that I am thinking this, and tell him I do trust him. I think it is my own insecurities coming into play. How can I put my mind at rest without making him think it is his fault I have trust issues?

Well you already have a bad experience so it must be difficult for you. You just have to try and believe him it sounds hard and probably not the answer you have been hoping for but that is all there is. From what you write it seems he has already changed for the better so you must hope. If you however find out you simply can not trust him you should end it. No reason for both of you to be hanging on a relationship without future.

Never mind your boyfriend, the truth of the matter is that how things pan out is almost entirely down to you. Basically people will treat you in the way that you let them. If you are a whiny individual, filled with angst and insecurity, he's going to cheat on you. If you are positive, strong and give him the impression that you really don't need him and he's lucky to have you in his life, he's not going to cheat. You can choose which way you want him to behave.

Yes they do honey, my boyfriend was the biggest tart ever years ago, he bedded every female that had a pulse and flirted outrageously with everyone but he has changed since then, doesnt even look at another woman let alone flirt with them.... so yes, they can change.

Tell him exactly how you feel.. That is the only way because if you do move with him and do not tell him, you might loose him. You two need to sit down and talk everything out and it can only get better from there......

good luck!

To put it bluntly leopards do not change its spots. However it would be unfair to assume that this b/f would hurt you with out some reason to beleive it. I say what is the hurry if you are enjoying him take it slow and see what happens

The best way is to have open communication with him. Tell him how you feel and why you feel the way you do. This is something that you need to discuss with him.

You know, us boys do sometimes grow up - especially if we're onto something good. Go with the flow....
