My exhusband recently got involved with a woman with 2 kids the same age as his own. He no longer has alot to do with his own girls to busy with his new ones I guess. I caught wind they have married recently with her girls there, his girls don't know anything about it. He is coming into town this weekend with new family to tell the girls. Am I being crazy because to me this seems like a bad father not even including his own kids. Am I wrong? Don't know how to make our girls not be so sad. Any Suggestions?

My own track record is pretty bad, so I've read a lot about what the experts say. Now I'm interested in what you think, especially if you have personal experience. Thanks!

I have a girlfriend , but my friends seem to have bad luck finding love. So im wondering why its much harder to find a partner as you get older? All the good girls are either gay or married, same thing for guys. Or maybe they are looking in the wrong places.Im in my mid 20s just so you have an idea of whats the age range .

I am looking for an alternate place to hold a reception in Chicago. I don't want to hold it in a traditional banquet hall. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok im ina huge siuation. I am a australian nanny working for an american family. Im in the usa on a j1 visa that expires next year in june and unless i extend my stay for another year i have to go back to OZ. I also have a boyfriend here who i love very much and we would like to get married. Does me getting married while i am still in the country on my j1 visa cancell out that visa? i would love to extend my stay with the family i am working for but unfortunatly they are fighting like crazy and the possiblity of them staying married for another year is very little chance. im acutally having a hard time working for them right now as they keep involving me in their fights and i just wanted to know if if i was to get married now would that have any effect on my j1 visa and wouyld the program im working with find out that i got married??

I love him, there so many reasons why we're good 2gether, but him having a child and a baby mother is bothering me due to the fact this women will be in our lives 4ever. I know if it was the other way around he wouldn't be with me if I had a child. But I have to accept that as well as the fact that he has trust issues and he doesn't love me the same way I love him, he says when we get married he'll allow himself to be vulnerable. Then there is the issue of him slowly changing and not being as sweet and romantic as he was in the beginning. But I love him and he doesn't treat me wrong, I'm just not satisfied with this arrangement. How am I suppose to feel?

I admire this guy about 6months now how. How can i tell him i love, christmas is coming very soon, i was thinking that i want to give present for christmas? I wanted to write a letter and tell him. But i'm worrid he doesn't like me. if he doesn't like me, my heart will be broken. I dreamt last night about him and he told me that he love me and i kiss him on his cheeks. I hope this dream will come true.

What will you do if you were me??

My fiancee has two children from a previous marriage, ages 9 and 12. When we first got together, me and the kids hit it off immediately, and I was relieved that we got along so well. I take his daughter shopping at the mall, take them both out to eat, and buy little gifts for them from time to time, just because I genuinely like them so much. But lately, I have started sensing some sort of resistance or resentment from them. They won't listen to me when I tell them small things, like, "please brush your teeth" or "please put on your seatbelt" and things like that. When their father isn't here, they do as they please, and I have heard them talking on the phone saying unflattering things about me to their friends, and even to their father. I don't "tattle" on them, but I DO tell my fiancee when I feel that I have been grossly disrespected. he talks to them about it and makes them apologize, but then they just do it all over again another day. Why the sudden change?

my friend (a girl) likes one guy in my school who is my good friend.. well this girl is my best friend and i want to help her, to talk to that guy about her, but don't know what should i say..

for this time i have been helping most couples but now i would like to hear some of your sugestions..

that girl want ever come to my friend and talk to him coz she thinks it is a "male job" in every relationship.. but that guy is shy and would never make a first move, if someone don't tell him that girl likes him..

but another problem, that girl don't want him to know that she likes him, so i have to tell him only good stuff and that he should go and make that move with her, but in an usual conversation..

do u have some sugestions how to push some of our topic in any of our conversations, so i mention my best friend to him, and how to assure him to go and make some moves with her?

need help from the adult ladies out there, it would be greatly appreciated. I need to know how to read this situation so I don’t make an a** of myself tomorrow (I’m 30, and this girl is 34, neither of us have ever been married). I went out with this girl twice, the last time was a year and a half ago. The first time we went out things went ok and we made plans to go out again. Then one of her longtime friends got in the way and they began seeing each other. She lives one hour away from me so it would have been a long distance relationship. She broke up with him a few months later. We went out again shortly thereafter. I went to see her. At the end of the date, she said that she would have to come down to see me next time. she had indicated previously that the distance turns her off because she has to drive 45 minutes everyday to work and that was what was precluding her from starting a relationship with me.. It’s really complicated, but like an idiot I never asked her down because I kept coming back to the “she doesn’t like the distance thing so she isn’t really interested”. I didn’t want to have to deal with the rejection because she is an awesome girl and I could have seen myself falling hard for her and then end up hurt. If I missed my chance with her I’ll never forgive myself. Here’s the thing. We’ve kept in touch consistently for the last year and a half and email nearly daily (sometimes to the point of excessive since we are both at work!). Sometimes about absolutely nothing at all, but other times about life and what’s happening in each of our lives. Over this time I’ve begun to realize that I have some serious feelings for her, like she might be THE ONE. Back in January I realized this and I asked her out to lunch but she said that she had started seeing someone and “didn’t think it would be fair for all of us involved” to get together. So we went on like usual. I casually mentioned to her about a month ago that I had started seeing somebody (I’m not anymore but she doesn’t know that), and she immediately responded by suggesting that we needed to get together sometime. She is planning on coming down to my town to do some shopping and wanted to get together with me afterwards. Today, she mentioned that she’d like to switch up the schedule though, that she wants to see me first then do the shopping later. Can you give me your interpretation of the situation? Am I in the dreaded “friend zone” or is there a chance she is waiting to see my reaction and if I still have interest? I need the female perspective. Thanks in advance for your help, I am an absolutely pathetic mess

Ok, so you're dying for a number two, you go to the nearest public toilets and there are only two cubicles. The first one doesn't flush, and the other one doesn't have a lock on the door.
Which do you choose? Serious answers only please as this is a serious question.

ever feel like you don't belong? I've moved from city to city and I thought maybe if I stay in one place long enough I may start to feel like I belong....it's been almost a year. I still feel out of place. I go to work, I clean/organize my apartment, I go to work. I am an independant person I've never had a problem doing stuff by myself....ie going to dinner, or seeing a play, going to the museum... but sometimes it gets lonely.....I do have a significant other he has his own group of friends. I just sometimes wish that I could go out with my friends.... that I could go out for coffee on a whim, or after work.... i have no one to do that with..... the times I have had the guts to ask anyone if they want to go here or there, or do this or that..... they say sure and I never hear back from them.......that gets kinda old and i've stopped trying.....i just sometimes wish i could find people with the same interests i have.....well like i said i'm just venting...... reply if you'd like

I asked this question prior but I neglected to mention that my ex is now retired from the military. My ex and I have been separated many years (15+), but never legally divorced (or legally separated for that matter). .Left me with no warning or provocation. Came home from work and found most of the furniture taken and no good bye note, nothing. Ruined what credit I did have trying to pay for home alone and living expenses alone on a meager income. How do I find out what benefits I am, if any, entitled too and who should I contact to get more information?? When i was abandoned, we lived in Virginia. At first, I just wanted closure, but now, I could use whatever help I can get. Never received nor asked for a dime but managed to get back on my feet alone.
