i met a guy a few months ago, we have gone out on a couple dates.and we chat and e-mail all the time. we talked on phone a few times. well we have lots in common and like each other alot. he says he has feelings for me. but is not deep in love with me. i have feelings for him too. but i'm not deeply in love either. he is my first stab at having a relationship. and latley he has been pulling away from me. i'm trying to give him space to think. he has been having some health issues that are serious. and is stressed out and confused about his own life. he told me 2 days ago he wants to take a little step back while he gets his head figured out. i hate not talking to him its driving me crazy not knowing whats up with him. and i'm concered about his health. what should i do? should i back off and wait? should i tell him not talking is killing me? what....?

My heart feels whole and I don't feel broken hearted. My ex dumped me b/c I really hurt him. And when I hurt him I felt like a piece of my heart crumbled. And today he was bad mouthing me to my best friend that likes him and she said thats my friend your talking about. And he said I don't care I'm never talking to that F*cking B*tch again. Whenever I make friends, it's so hard for me to keep them.

I can name so many examples... and most of the times, when I argue with someone, it's because of my horrible temper. I wish I could control it, but besides that, I just lose my friends.

They're hard to make, hard to keep. Is it just me... or is life just like that? How can I keep my friends? Am I doing something wrong?

I really wish I knew... a lot of my friends just drift away from me for the "popular crew," or whatever. I know I'm not popular, because I'm kind of an individual, and I don't like to do what other people think, and just do what I think, but I just don't understand.

Well,I had a best friend Chelsea from the time i was 7 and she was 4..The years didnt seem that far apart.. then.We were always at each others house,every weekend.Now,im 18 and shes 15.It just seems like those three years are very crucial now,because to me shes very immature.For instance she has a boyfriend & she told me recentley that she thinks she likes his cousin that lives in another state,she hardly knows him,and yet she thinks shes in love.And,she told me her boyfriend and her have been talking about having sex.Im just discusted with the way she been acting,Now,she has a new friend shes replacing me with, im not jealous i just thought our friendship of 10 years would mean a little more to her.I guess its time we go our seperate ways, i mean im an adult now and I sure dont want to be acting childish,or do anything foolish that would have consequences for the rest of my life.What is your opinion on this?And,have you ever grew apart from your best friend of many years?

I have a question about cousins. I am aware that people can have cousins on both sides of the family. I guess you would call them maternal or paternal cousins. What kind of relationship do a persons' cousins from each side of the family have with each other? I know it is not blood related of course but I was just wondering. My dad's sister(he only has a sister) has been married twice with one boy from the first marriage and one from the second marriage so of course their kids are my first cousins. Her husband, my uncle by marriage, has a fifteen year old son. What relationship would that have to me for example? Cousin by marriage? I am just curious.

having an affair couple months before decides he no longer wants to be married. Both spouses seem unhappy but he does not want to talk about it or answer any questions. I guess I can be hard to get to know. My closest friends tell me that they wer'nt to sure what I was like because I'm quiet when I dont know someone. I mean I'll talk to them, and be friendly but I'm obviously not 100% outgoing.
