i see my boyfriend everyday but when i go home and ask him to call me later he does not we been with each other for almost a year off and on and ive always had this problem with him not calling me it's usually me that does all the calling and now im thinking if it's really love we share are more of a friends with benifits fling that overlasted did i mention i really love him and he tells me the same thing or is it just that im asking for too much

When a relationship has lasted for a long time, some take it for granted. There are some men who see no need for chitchat with their gf knowing that the chitchat can come later when they're together. Not calling is not a sign that he is not in love. Could be that he already feels secure in your relationship.
Don't dwell too much on that, it will give you a headache.

I've been through this before. Guys are funny. Sometimes they'd rather see you in person than to talk on the phone. Do you see each other in person everyday? If so, I don't see anything wrong with your guy, however if you don't see eye-to-eye very often, then yes he should be calling you more often if he really loves you. You said that you see him everyday, so I think that is great:) He may be really busy when he gets home and may not have the time to call anyone. He may not like talking on the telephone.

you spend everyday with him and then you want him to call you and spend all night talking to you on the phone.. Men don't spend time on the phone like girls do... And if you are spending a lot of time together maybe he just needs the time you are not there for himself... Guys don't usually say they love you if its just a booty call and its has went on for a year... it seems more than a friends with benifits thing to me...

If you see each other everyday, then calling each other every night is allot of contact. Perhaps too much. Try the opposite approach and don't call him for several days, I bet he calls.
The bottom line is..your smothering him or at least he thinks so.

maybe he is not the phone conversational type? A lot of people do not feel comfortable chatting on the phone for hours especially when they see the same person everyday..I wouldnt take it to personal, maybe if you cool off the calling, it will give him reason to want to call you?

guys usually are not good with the calling, if you see him almost every day to me thats too much anyways, give him some space, maybe he'll miss you.

try not calling him for a few days, and when he wants you to come over, tell him you're busy. see if he can handle that. if it doesn't phase him at all, well u need 2 move on,
