In your relationships, how many times do you have get kicked in the azz before you say that hurt?

hmmmnnn before I finally said enough is enough I say I developed a soft behind from the amount of times I got kicked.
Its hard to let go when you have history, shared the same goals, and wanted to build a life together. People say get out when you can, move on, etc. But honestly, how likely is that you find your true "soulmate" Usually its the one who gets on your last nerve but is usually the same person who will give you the clothes off their back, their last dime, and is always there when you are in dire straights and your "true" friends are nowhere to be found.

After awhile when you are tired of the hurt, you move on with your life and you either a) move onto someone else when GOD brings the right person into your life or b) go back to the tried and true only b/c you gave your self time, space and pretty much wrote that person out of your (you may have even moved to another planet!) life but you guys got back together because it was meant to be which is usually determined by either party trying not to be together but somehow someway fate stepped in which you know its fate by at that moment you and that person never split and pain is only felt when they are gone forever due to no fault of anyone.

Depends on you. It may take once, 3 times, a year's worth or 4 yrs. worth. What you need to ask yourself is what is your own self-worth and how is your self-esteem doing? Is is low so you keep allowing to get kicked? When you're ready, you'll get out, let go and hopefully realize you are worth more as a human being than a punching bag.
