A guy that I have been conversing with, will meet soon, mentioned John Norman and the planet Gor. Said that I would make a good Gor slave. I googled it, seems pretty dark. I am a pretty open minded, 30 somthing single adult. But is this wierd? Guys, what about this interests you? Does it mean a real lack of respect for women? Ladies, ever date a Gor guy? Info, please!!! Thanks to all!

There is this guy who I am going to Homecoming with. As it is now we are VERY close friends, but I want to be more then friends. He has a girlfriend, but he's told me he wants me more then her. Every time we talk he always tells me he loves me, and when I say it back he replies with a, "It means more coming from you then her (his girlfriend). When you say it I just start shaking it makes me feel so good." What should I do?

My best friend is always hitting me playfully. She is a girl, I'm a guy, we are 15, and people keep saying she is flirting. Today, for example, she just hit me in the head with a school book (lol) for no reason. We have known each other for 2 years. First off, do you think this actually is her way of flirting? She doesn't do it to other people. And also, what should I do back? Should I also playfully mess around with her?

For me, it is maintaining communication. I have friends who I talk to from time to time, but I would love to be able to connect better with them. Through changing jobs, marriage (or dating), having kids and moving, keeping in touch with friends is getting harder and harder!

I used to work for my Dad, then after finding out my husband and I were expecting our first child, we handed our 5 weeks notice and moved back to the UK. During the 5 weeks, my Dad was spiteful and rude and always made me cry (I was very emotional - and gave up smoking!!!) so I was even more stressed. Now I'm back in the Uk I haven't spoken to him in 2 months. I've tried to keep in touch with emails and sent him pictures of my scans and what we're up to, but all his replies are 'off' and distant and I got one today, bulleted points of how we left him in the **** and all this work he's had to do. not even asking how I am again. I think we did everything right. Surely at 24 i have the right to make my own decisions in life.
Should I just give up on him, or just realise it's HIS problem not mine and keep trying to fix our relationship? I've just realised I don't like him as a person.

I have a client that has been coming to my cafe for years. He is totally aggressive and impolite to me and my staff. He is in a class of his own, he manages to push things beyond any reasonable levels. There are too many examples to give, but I don’t think examples are necessary for you to help me with my question.
My question is, how can I deal with him? I can’t tell him not to come anymore, because I’m worried that this will just cause him to flip out and set up a continuous sate of anger against us. I can’t explain to him that his behavior is wrong, as I have already tried and according to him, we are the rude ones. To top it off, he is Arab, and he seems to be playing up the stereo type that people tend to have against arabs. His anger for us seems disproportionate to anything we’ve ever done to him. Which just for the record, we’ve never done anything to him. I don’t know how to handles this and it causes me a lot of worry.
