No. people do things sometimes based on their own baggage or insecurities but under no circumstances is it OK to hurt someone physically when they hurt you emotionally. If you can get 'em back another way however, I highly recommend it. I'm human.

no thats not ok! Alot of times things in life don't go as we expect and you can't go around punching people. What you did is called domestic violence. I feel for your girlfriend or ex she didn't get what she deserved and i hope you work out your anger issuse before getting into another relationship. or you could find yourself in jail.
