Just recently i left practice before it was over for a doctors appointment....I had already talked to and approved with him that it was okay that i leave early....i just got on the website(we can check everything online) to see what they marked it and its labeled as skipping

I'm afraid that they might suspend me for it....what should i do???

Talk to the office and tell them what happened, or just not worry about it and see what happens

A career I like is teaching because I enjoy the fact being around with kids. I take pleasure in working with them. This career goes under the tertiary industry because it provides services for its consumers to help them out.
Teaching agrees with the trends on page 75 because educators are knowledge workers. Knowledge workers, who deal among information and services, have now become necessary for the most part of industries. Knowledge workers appear to be the fastest- growing kind of workers since many years.
The skills of my parent occupation (Kindergarten helper) do not differ from the skills of my potential career (Teacher) because we both are placed in the category of tertiary industry. Literacy skills are very important nowadays, equally at work and in everyday life. People need to read, understand, locate and process information. So much of communication is determined on reading and writing in this day and age.

I am a sixteen year old in grade eleven, and I think that you are supposed to be in school to learn and to get an education. But, how do you deal with people who don't think that way? I have about 5 guys in each class who are always drunk on weekends and they're about as smart as a shoebox. They constantly interupt the teacher and so I don't get half of the lesson; these kids don't get in trouble. How do I deal with this? Please help!

My 5 year old niece (birthday was in December) has been in preschool for a year and just had her "kindergarten screening". Her preschool teacher is recommending that she stay in preschool for another year. She has a bad speech impediment (she is in speech therapy) and her teacher says that she has "plateaued" in her skills since December. She is shy and cries easily. She is the youngest of 3 kids and I think she is just immature. (She has been tested for learning problems and doesn't have any other the speech delay.) My brother-in-law wants her to go. He is adamant that holding her back would be a mistake and immaturity is not a reason to keep her out of kindergarten. He thinks she will be teased for being the oldest in her class. I can sort of see his point. She would turn 7 halfway through kindergarten if they keep her back. She would be 19 when she graduates from HS. I still think she should stay back. How do I convince him? Being held back later would be worse!

Functional skills are neglected in the regular classroom and I do not believe that even self esteem will be improved in the long run.

My teacher gave us an important assignment in English.
We have to find "poetic devices" in a song's lyrics
I tried sooo many songs but she refused all of them (5 to be exact)
I cant think of anymore songs with poetic devices
Please help...but she made one catch...the songs have to be school appropriate
meaning: no curses- not even editting cursing
please help
If you can please list at least 2?
Thank you sooo much...plus 10 points given to best answer!

If you would like to see a complete programming
schedule go to:
historychannel.com/global/listings/listings.jsp?NetwCode=THC
Hi , I receive this via email and it lists the weekly programs that are educational for kids etc with all kinds of additional lessons etc. Do you know if there are other sources like this and you might want to check these out because they are aimed at young people of various ages.

We organized a program for elementary age children to meet once a week over the summer. The main organizer is our local sheriffs department and I would like to incorporate an activity involving police as the theme of the project. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
