I'm afraid that they might suspend me for it....what should i do???

Talk to the office and tell them what happened, or just not worry about it and see what happens

depending on how well you know the person working on attendance, you can just talk to them.

if you don't know them that well then it is best to call in pretending you are your parent...or if it's a legit reason just have your parents take care of it, have them come in

Talk to your teacher first, then to the school office.

If they want proof, take a receipt or some kind of note from your doctor's office. Writing a note for patient IS part of their business. They'll just scribble something for you and that should be good enough.

Have your parents call the doctor's office if need to be.

More than likely, it is a smple matter of typo or miscommunication.

Get your parents to call the school or get them to write a note.At our school parents have to sign a slip to pick kids up from school when leaving earlier or if you are bringing them back from an appointment. Asign in and out book.

Talk to the office, why are you going to be punished for something you didn't do, even if you don't get punished for that you might want to have it fixed just in case someone can use that against you, like your parents.

Call them. You know you aren't lying about it, its probably a simple confusion. And even if you were, the worst that could happen is a day of iss and at my school, people get iss on purpose.
