Do India's school children require sex education ? Please understand the meaning of "Sex Education" before you post your views.
The government's proposal was to introduce it as a subject in addition to the already existing ones.This according to me is a senseless thing to do.There isn't all that much which can be taught in order to teach it everyday.Also the school teachers are in no position to teach this.

I studied In a school for boys,Mumbai.While I was in class 9 we had a two day compulsory seminar on sex education by a very nice,funny & effective teacher.The seminar included videos which were projected on a big screen in our auditorium.The seminar empowered us with everything about sex,intercourse,it's results,birth,abortion,HIV,AIDS etc. along with breaking all our myths

For class 9 such info on sex,abortions may seem heavy duty.But it wasn't,the timing was just right since within a year & half we were out of school & into college where there were no restrictions on our ac

I have only been visiting Yahoo Answers for about a month or so, and very very rarely do I see proper sentences. It is absolutely unbelieveable. I am certainly not perfect myself.
Yes, I too have abbreviated questions and answers.
Are the schools and TEACHERS just shirking the jobs that they are being paid to do, and putting it off on the parents?
Is it time for a shake up in our education system? No I did not click on the ABC button to correct my spelling.

ok so im taking ap calc, ap bio, and ap gov this year! and my ap calc teacher is really good, so im not overly concerned with that test, however, i really do need to buckle down and study. BUT the main problem is government and biology. My teachers are very friendly but they suck! I havent learned a single thing in their class! especially bio! im really scared about the ap tests, especally since i wasted my spring break, when i should have been studying (i regret) but now i dont know what to do! i'm freaking out about it! i still have tons of homework to do! =( im so worried! i have to get 5's on both exams. please someone help me with this! i know all i need to do is study! but its so hard concentrating and finding the time, and if i do have time..i fall asleep while reading! someone please help me! =(

My oldest son lived with his Dad, who really did not care about his schooling anyway, he came to live with me, has a job but no GED, I offered him 500 to do it, since I have offered it to him he has done most his GED but has to re-take the Math and Essay, do you think that was bad of me to Bribe my 19 year old or do you think later in life he'll be thankful at all?

My daughter has a June birthday and is close to finishing kindergarten. Her teacher has recommended that she repeat, but also stated that she would do better being in school all day as opposed to another year of half day kindergarten. She reads and writes and meets the requirements to pass to first grade. However she is behind in her class in writing and is shy so she never answers questions or speaks out. I feel she lacks self confidence and is overshadowed by louder children. I am afraid that repeating kindergarten will upset her because she takes a while to warm up to people and now has friends. Any ideas for this agonizing decision?

He's gonna do a project for his elementary school science class. It needs to be a simple experiment and he needs to display the scientic method on poster board.

I've been really busy, and I'm having trouble helping him and explaining where it's easy for him to understand.

Can anyone suggest how I can give him simple explanations of each part of the scientific method?
