Cell phones are the latest devices that attract teenagers nowadays. A cell phone is enormous way in favor of keeping in touch, communication and safety. In any case of an emergency
(Not knowing where they are, bad weather etc.) your child will be able to contact you if needed. There are numerous teenagers who own a cell phone and are able to look after themselves.
In the approved manner, managed by the parent, cell phone usage can also grant a lesson in financial responsibilities for the child.

I don't know if all schools have this, but does anyone else have that system where if you're born in december, you go with the following year. For example, if you were born in december 1986, you would be with 1987 kids. I do know of many schools, including the one I went to that had that rule. Does anyone know why this is exactly, and what's the point?

Which of the following should I major and minor in?
-Molecular Biology
-Chemistry
-French
-Spanish

I have an interest for all of them. I am fluent in French but don't really want to major in it since I speak it. But how about Spanish?, I am taking AP Spanish lit(as a non-native) and I think Spanish is important and helpful. I am really good in Biolgoy and chemistry got 5 on Ap test on both of them. AP Calculus 3
-So what should I do?What's safe?
-What about a double major? Is it a risk?

I was thinking of the follwing
1. Major in Chemistry and Major/minor Spanish
2.Major in Molecular Biology and major/minor Spanish
3.Major in Spanish and Major/minor Molecular Biology

what is better number 1, 2, or 3?

I was always being called at work and school to pick him up. Now in Kindergsrten he is attending speech but is doing outstandiung with his speech but the behaviors continue. My husband has been deployed for five years and it is just him and I. I am so frustrateded becaus I dont know what to do. I have tryed spanking, punsihment, taking the t.v. dvd's etc. My husband does not support me at all. He is against medication. I dont know what is wrong because my son has no issues academicaly. He has been reading since pre-k, can spell, you name it he can do. He has been tested for autism and does not have it. I dont know what to do? I am bringing him to be evaluated for ADD & ADHD next week. Should I consider medication? I dont want his behavor issues to affect his work or contiunue throughout his schooling.I need help!

As I being the one to make the mistake of not putting in my full 110% effort in the class, I failed it miserably with a 60 over all. I look at my Spanish teacher till this day and still greet him with a hello. I found him very hard to work with, but I wouldn't be one to say "Oh HE failed me.", like high school students say now. I have now learned my lesson in faling this class. Although, should I be worried about the day I don't get accepted into a college like UT Austin because of failing that class?

- I always check my work
- I always do very well in my exams
- I am not allowed to leave until time is up . . .

Please, no comments telling me I should check my work over and over because I simply don't! I check it once and then I'm happy with it.

I need something to think about . . .some kind of mind game maybe, because I can't doodle on the exam paper and I can't make any noise. Please, I feel so bored, I feel ill! =]

I'll be grateful for any (reasonable) suggestion!
