Because I think some of my news channel is already passed my district if it was there. I live in Illinois, Oswego. And in district 308 so I was wandering if anyone knows if the district is closed or a way to find out if it is.

I was just wondering how active singapore schools are in preventing bullying from taking place. Anyone of you have kids in schools with an active anti-bullying policy?

I once knew of a classmate who was badly bullied in secondary school. Recently, i saw him again and he still looked really reserved and scared out. Any relevant experiences to share? Perhaps bullying really does have a life long effect on the victims.

My English teacher hates me basically and I need a reccomendation from her by January. I don't have much time, and I am not sure what to do. It feels like in class she picks on me and seems to have a sharp eye on me specifically. I am really worried and not at all sure what to do.

Here's how my uniform code works, we can't wear any jewlery, nail polish (not even clear),
no make-up (not even cover-up), and khaki pants and a white polo. In the morning, when we get to school, we have to be examined by all of the teachers, and we have to take a wet towel and wipe it on our faces to check if any make-up rubs off. I am just curious if anybody else's schools have a ridiculous policy like ours.
So please tell me about yours.
~Thanks~

Okay.
First, my question may sound a little ridicoulous or stupid, but I really do need some suggestions on what to do on this case.
I have a complicated problem with my high school science teacher. Yesterday we took a test. Which was divided into 3 parts (3 papers) . I did really well on it. After we finished the test, we turned it in, and the teacher passed back one of the parts of the test back in random order and we corrected each others test. After we finished the person who corrected my paper gave it back to me, and I had only gotten one wrong.
Now the problem I was late, and mistakenly I must have put the test with the rest of my papers back in my binder instead of giving it to the teacher. TOday I just found the test in my binder and I immediately went and gave it back to the teacher. He said that I would get a 70 on it now. What can I do to tell him that I couldnt have cheated or anything like that. Please I really do need some help!

Why is it that when I use a regular pencil, there is no sound, but when I write with a mechanical pencil, there is a little squeaky sound. It frustrates me when I'm taking tests because it's distracting, and it makes me think why do they squeak, and I can't focus on my work.

My 9-year-old son is looking for a project for the school's science fair. What's really interesting, fun, educational, life-changing, inspiring, or otherwise just the greatest science project ever?

My son had gone in to school as normal, i was watching through the window whilst waiting for one of my friends, my son came out of the cloakroom crying he had lost his book bag and was worried he would be in trouble, he came towards the doors to see me, he was met with a human wall of teachers stopping him from going out of the school (understandably) the head then came out of a room near to the doors and grabbed him by the arm and walked him down the corridor, he broke free and headed back to the cloakroom, she again grabbed him by the wrist this time and pulled him back towards her, he screamed and i went into school to find out what the hell was going on, she let go of him when she saw me and i sorted his problem out, he wasn't being a s**t or having a pop at anyone, he hadn't done anything wrong he just lost his book bag, got upset and wanted me to help him find it but wasn't allowed to get to me but was instead marched off by the arm then grabbed and pulled by his wrist.
