I'm like that too. Just the thought of speaking in front of people is frightening. When the time comes. Somehow I just do it. It's like I'm not really there. It's like someone else is doing the talking for me. That's how I deal with it. Just imagine you're someplace else.

Just review your notes...if you know your stuff, there's nothing to worry about. As long as the judges see that you worked hard, you understand it, and you can explain it, you'll do fine. I've been in a couple science fairs in my day, and I know how you feel...remember to breath too, that helps...lol. Good luck!

I am the same way, I try to focus on my breathing before I have to talk and believe it or not, when the times comes to talk I imagine the people are standing there in their underwear and
it relaxes me, though sometimes I have to really concentrate not to start smiling. Memorize your stuff, keep deep breathing and you'll be fine.
Good Luck to you, bowl them over with your knowledge and your charm.

Hold your hands behind your back, take a deep breath before you answer and smile. Pretend your best friend and you are holding hands. It will calm you. Make sure you don't "fidgit" and look the judge who is asking you the question, eye to eye.

Just make sure that you know your stuff and don't try to memorize what you are going to tell them. Just tell them like they are your friends and you are excited to show them what you did and why. You'll do great!
