How I can earn some money in school holiday as I am student

My daughter was told that her science fair project is due on Friday. She got her science board on Monday from the teacher. Why don't some teachers tell students in a more timely manner? I've seen all the papers she has on the science fair and there are no due dates. I make sure I know what she is doing in school every day and what is due. (Just like real science at times I guess.) (By the way my kid is a nerdy honors--Who's Who in middle school type kid). Looks like she will be "fudging" data this year!!

My daughter starts all these really interesting real world assignments like learning the stock market or how the human body functions--complete with a 3-D model to build or reading unabridged great literature in elementary school and the teachers never follow through. Never following through--that is the only thing they are teaching her by doing this.

Isn't high school suppose to be the real deal? Where you're suppose to be more organized, mature, cleaner, and responsible?

And study our butts off? To prepare for college and S.A.T.'S?

I went to highschool in the late 70's, early 80's. Was it common back then for gym teachers/coach's to spank guys for misbehaviour, poor performance etc? I got paddled after practice a few times with some other guys. Did anyone who was in highschool back then experience anything similar?

I just started back to college this semester. Typcially 18 units is considered full time. Our college advises people who work full time to only take 6 units per semester. So I would be doing double that (which is 3 classes).
What do you think and why ?

I need to know if typing is just as affective as writing. What I mean is that when you write by hand you suppoedly remember things through muscle movments. I need reasearch that proves or disproves typing is better than writing, or that disproves writing helps you remember.

P.S. Ten Points to the best answer and I will choose the first good answers.

For example, if a student doesn't want to go to college, shouldn't he or she be able to take classes learning a trade like plumbing, electricity, or auto repair?

There's this 12-year-old kid I know and she told me that if she and her classmates come to class with their clothes damp from the rain, the teacher complains that they will stink up the classroom and will make them give her $5 to change into the clothes that she provides (they don't get to keep the clothes). Is a teacher allowed to do this? These are kids from low-income neighborhoods I'm talking about so $5 is a lot of money for them.

I think it would be beneficial if young people were taught the value of politeness and good manners, in order to make the world a more pleasant place. Do you not agree, kind user?
