This little altercation does not adversely affect your probability of getting into college at all.

In my experience, colleges look at many different things when deciding whom to admit. Different colleges look for different things. Sometimes a single college will have different criteria from one admission year to another The best advice I can offer is to turn your negative experience into a positive: in your application essay, write a few lines about your detention and what you learned as a result. If you show sincerity and growth, I am sure that many colleges will not disqualify you on the basis of your one mistake (assuming it was only one).
Good luck!

If you don't cheat anymore, you should be able to get into college. It's not a question on most applications, and rarely does anyone ask about 7th grade.
Learn from your mistakes and move forward with the new knowlege and high goals.
Good luck!

it depends on where your going to go. some schools won't allow you to go if you have a detention or worse. others are flexible and will allow you in even if you get expeled. so you will probably be able to get into college after cheating and getting a detention.

are you kidding
your in 7th grade?
once you get to high school thats when it really matters
most high schools..like mine usually have honor codes..that is if you're caught cheating, (depending on how bad or severe it is) you could get suspeneded, expelled maybe. it probably wont affect you getting into a college in high school...but if you get suspended colleges will see that... but seriosuly middle school....keeep those cheat sheets comin
