OK, now I'm in grade/year 10, so I'm in different classes and I also have some new teachers. I really missed my last year classes and my teachers too, when I remember them, I just feel sad, depressed etc and I really wish I have them this year, but I obviously don't, this year I have some bad teachers and I'm not comfortable around them, is it because I'm not used to them? how can I get over that?

School receives a fax or photocopy of what appears to be an official and valid doctor's note indicaticating illness of the child, with a signature appearing to be that of the doctor. Suspicion of fraud is based on high frequency of these notes and the apparent readiness of the doctor to submit them to the school for minor symptoms (with which most children still come to school). Parent is suspected of having Munchaussen by Proxy (kind of like hypochondria about someone else's perceived/imagined illness), thus keeping the child home for excessive and unnecessary absences. Handwriting on Doctor's notes does not seem suspicious. I wonder if there is a legal way to contact the doctor's office to verify that these notes are originating from the doctor and are not being fabricated by the parent who could have illegally obtained the doctor's note pad...

I mean, it is RIGHT THERE!
I'm asking you to consider this point, also;
HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO GET A DECENT JOB IF YOU CANNOT SPELL OR CONSTRUCT A DECENT SENTENCE?

You need to, DEFINETLY, STAY IN SCHOOL!!

Hi!

Is it just for a living ... or is it for a proper life?

If it is for a proper life, what should we introduce into our schools to improve the lives of our children?

Thank you for considering this.

My son has ADHD, Autistic Tendancies and OCD he is on Concerta. He doesnt like crowds and unfamiliar environments, Doesnt do change, is VERY literal, doesnt see danger, takes everything to heart and has no definative group of friends. I was asked recently about where I would like him to attend high school. Apparently if I select a school to which we are outside catchment, it would need to be named on his statement. I have 1 school year to do the leg work checking out what is available as it has to be sorted by mid year 5. Has anyone gone through this and have you any advice etc.........
Many Thanks

Tell me if this poem is good.

If there was a way for people not to be late
It would be very great
All we need is to be able to stop time
That way teachers don't act like we committed a crime
We just press a button then we may take our time
So there is no worry about the bells chime

One of my old teachers was telling me of this highschool in the U.S. that is 30,000 dollar tuition a year. School starts around 8...you come whenever, leave whenever, basically do whatever. The students decide what lectures they want to listen to. Yet with the lack of structure, 99% of its graduates go to Ivy League universities. He said he forgot the name...does anyone know? It doesn't have to be THE specific one, just any would do. Of course I don't want to attend..just wondering how no structure could possibly work.

I am a teacher, and I have a student who is constantly out of his seat, doesn't do his work, and really just pulls everyone off task. How would you resolve this... His mom doesn't think he needs the class, but his testing scores show he needs to be there. He came to my class two days in a row without his things. The first day I let him go and get it and the second day I made him sit and write sentences. He feels he is being picked on and is very argumentative. I would love advice on how to handle this!
