my son gave me a paper last night dated jan 21st. Today-Thursday, his class will be spending the day, as the forty-niners did during the gold rush. He is supposed to wear 49'ers TYPE CLOTHING.

Any suggestions what may work, that typical home already has in it? Wont have time to shop before school in the morning. HELP???

well, Levi's were actually invented for prospectors to wear while practicing there craft - note the 2 prospectors and their mules trying to pull a pair apart on the label.

you may try a floppy leather or leather looking hat - not a a cowboy hat, more like a prarie hat. a fake beard an a vest would help and maybe some work boots...

try that stuff...good luck!

Find some plaid shirts and some straight leg pants and tell him to go roll around in the dirt before school...should look GREAT!
