I'm doing a report in school on ergonomics, i have the general idea of what it is, but would like an additional information i could get on this topic, and what peoples responses to this subject are. it might help in my report.

Why dont schools encourage public displays of affection as opposed to hate, hurt and lonliness?

So teenagers develop socially and in terms of relationships as loving, careing people.


Instead of lonley, hurt, slashing wrist, being cold and nasty to each other.


Not developing emotionally so can't pull and end up with hookers or in abusive relationships.


Professionalisim is about doing a job right...Nothing else.Ie a mechanic making a car work

Morality is about being nice to each other.

And proper sex ed and availablity of contraception eliminates the pregnancy fear.

Plus you have the incentive of if studients in a couple improve their grades or get an A without cheating... 5 minutes snog time

they will be researching and producing a factsheet, so i need people that have achieved a lot, or overcome a lot. Are private school teachers meaner or stricter? I've noticed that some private school teachers tend to be mean or something. I don't know if that is a good or bad thing? Is it a waste of money? Cause I have seen a few people that have gone to private school and don't have nothing to show for. Is it me, or are there more cases like these?

i wasn't suspended for 18 weeks, i was sentenced to 18 weeks in behavior school and I'm in 7th grade.. but when the principle told me after school that I was going to behavior school and not to bother showing up tommorow, the next day [tommorow] was the beginning of my 18 week sentence to behavior school, right? I didnt have the meeting to find out i was going to behavior school until a week later and i only had a meeting with the dean who then sentenced me to 18 weeks at an alternative.. but my question is the first day i was absence from school due to all of this, was the beginning of my 18 week punishment at an alternative school, right? 10 points

Does anybody know about the program where the public schools will hire you on as a teacher (with BA) and pay for you to get certified if you are willing to work in inner city schools? I was told about it by a few people but can't find any info. I would appreciate any info on this...thanks...(Dealing w/ NYC schools by the way)

My son is 11 years old and in the 5th grade. His behavior at school is terrible and he is constantly in trouble at school. The school was constantly calling me at work about behavior problems. He leaves the the class room when being disaplined by the teacher. I feel the teacher is angry with me because of my son's behavior. When I am called to the school that these things don't go on at home. They look at me as if I am lying. My son is not learning anything in school because he is disrupting the class. He will not be promoted to the next grade. How can I get him the help he needs? The medication he is taking is not even helping him to focus in class. We have changed the medication several times. He is way behind his fellow classmates. The teacher has given up. What can I do?
