yes, it is a much more reliable sorce of information for sexually active teens then the sex talk that they hear around the lunch table

Yes. Most parents don't do it themselves. I was taught sex ed 5th-9th grade in public school, and 6 weeks thru thr 9th grade year I transferred to a private school. It's amazong how naive some of the kids are that have been in private school their whole lives. They're so immature ignorant about anything having to do with sex. I'm glad I was taught.

Besides, in public schools the parents don't HAVE to let their kid take sex ed. They just have to sign a contract saying they will teach the kid everything themselves. Most parents let the school do it.

In my opinion yes sex ed should be taught in public schools. Reason is abstinence education is not working due to the increase of teenage pregnancy so the next best thing is to inform students of sex education which might decrease the high pregnancy rate.

yes it should kids are learning about sex from so many other sources that are teaching them the wrong thing, such as tv the radio there friends. They need a class to teach them right conecpt of sex and stds
