Religion and ethical studies shuould be iintroduced in all schools. This should bring some morality and hopefully some values education in the school system. However i do not think any specific religion should be taught but rather religious studies centered around living and relating with people in a glogal multi-etchnic and multi-religious environment. Religoius tolerance benefits and a good values system must be introduced in early education and continued throughout the schooling system.

No because if you consider the fact that the United States was built upon freedom of speech and freedom of religion, adding christianity would give christians the advantage of being allowed to go into that school.

I don't think Christianity should be brought back into schools because that would cause too much chaos. Also, there are many out there who are non-Christians. It would be unfair to them. But I firmly believe that prayers should be brought back to schools. Prayers do not necessarily mean that it's Christian because I suppose all religions believe in prayers. It would at least bring in some sense of spirituality in our schools.

How about no. Not everyone in this country is Christian, so why would you introduce one religion. What about all the kids that are Jewish, Buddists (oriental), etc.? Should we kick those kids into their own schools and we should separate kids by their religion?
Religion has no place in secular schools. If you want religion go to a private school that is geared for that.

I'm not sure if this would fit in to your debate, but you might consider including that if christianity is not to be in schools anymore, neither is any other religion.
people are shunning the christian religion, trying to throw it out. All the while they are welcoming other religions.
Why should they say christians should not push their religion, but they are doing the exact same thing.

im kinda in the middle here, im a christian.
I think ALL religions should be brought into/ allowed in schools. You go to school to learn, not to teach what religion is the "right" one. Christianity should be allowed in schools. Hell if a child wants to pray be4 he eats is lunch then hell, let the kid pray i mean if that is what he believes in then what is so harmful about it? People who are saying "no" to your question and say "well thats not fair cuz not every kid is christian" people even now cant believe what they believe in, in most publice schools kids cant pray cant say god cant speak of what they belive in concerning christianity. so the question is not "do you think christianity should be brought back in school?" but "do you think kids should be allowed to follow their religion in school if that is what they believe in" just like poeple hatin the word "god" in the pledge of alligence. That pledge is a pledge that was made up by our traditional founding fathers. it should stay that way. When you say the pledge of america you put your hand over your heart saying you honor and respect it, and if you do not, then dont put your hand over your heart and dont say it. You dont have to agree with it. So yes christianity shoudl be brought back in schools..not forced but because the majority of america is christian. Majority has to be happpy, just like with the presidents...we may not all be satisfied with bush being the president, but the MAJORITY (consideering he won the election) is happy with it. So we should allow christianity back into schools cuz MAJORITY. When we first came to america, christianity wasnt forced in schools or public cuz tradition but because the majority, if not all, WERE christian. There is my point. Goodluck with your survey.

Sadly no because our country has changed and because of that it had to go out.
For the record, I still have a small nativity scene I received in elementary school (in the early 1970's) and it meant alot to me to get it at school then and still has sentimental value now.

No.Our country was FOUNDED on the premise of freedom of religion and freedom from religion.Which one of the more than 500 denominations of Christianity do you propose we bring into the schools?
There are plenty of examples of countries with state sponsored religions.
Iraq
Iran
Syria
Saudi Arabia
I rest my case your honor.
