I am in 9th grade, so I have lots of experience. With only 2 C's, you no doubt are well on your way to Middle School. Silly rumors about not being able to leave elementary school are foolish. In 5th grade, my main focus was following directions and studying for tests. Remember, your teachers are there to help you, I always went afterschool for extra help in Math, and it really pays off. Don't leave projects till the last minute, it won't be your best work. Don't worry about middle school, "C's" are an average grade! You will no doubt make it far in school.

Don't worry, I was nervous before I started middle school, too. But it don't help to worry so much. Starting sixth grade is like starting anyother new grade: everythings just a little tougher. Plus, I've never heard of someone not making it to middle school : )

I know what you mean but grades don't count The only thing that counts is the BIG test at the end of the school year all the grades do is tell your parent if you need help in some subjects

dude, get your butt off the computer and go study or something. there was this kid in my class who didnt study, failed every test, skipped school, forged his parents signatures on tests. bottom line, he was a teachers nightmare and got ALOT of suspensions and wound up with F's in everthing. but he still got to go to middle school (by the way im in canada so our middle school starts at gr.7). So, dont turn out like that kid, because the marks you have now MATTER. study study study when you know you have a test study every single night. dont settle for a semi-good job on an assignment. do your absolute best on everything, even if it means redoing it.
Im sure that you'll pass to middle school. try your best, keep your grades up!

Sure you will. C's are passing. If you get below a C, then you are in trouble. Well, you got some time left before school ends, study a litte bit harder. It doesn't matter how you start, as long as you have a good finish.

If you're smart, then do your homework and pull those Cs up to Bs. You don't have to worry about not making it to middle school, because most schools practice social promotion. But you ought to do homework because you'll improve your grades, which will make you feel better about yourself.

a C is average, you could still make it with D's. Also there is summer school and trust me its not that bad. Heck when you go to college you probably will take many summer classes. If in doubt then just take some time and study.

Do Not Panic. If you have at least 2 F's on your report cad for those 6 weeks then they will think about holding you back.

Don't be nervous of your abilities, listen to your Dad. Stand tall and be proud of who you are and what you have done. Numbers and letters on your scorecard count for far less than you think. If you are a good person who can use your mind and heart then that's important.
