I was just wondering how active singapore schools are in preventing bullying from taking place. Anyone of you have kids in schools with an active anti-bullying policy?

I once knew of a classmate who was badly bullied in secondary school. Recently, i saw him again and he still looked really reserved and scared out. Any relevant experiences to share? Perhaps bullying really does have a life long effect on the victims.

School discipline is so tightly controlled that not do homework is a major infraction. Bullies stand no chance. All your friend needs to do is to report any bullying taunting behavior. Ask his parents to see the principal. Btw, i believe learning to handle bullies is part of growing up process. Singapore is producing too many wimps.
